Romney gets nasty in Nevada but Ron Paul prevails

For Ron Paul supporters there is good news coming out of Nevada but the price paid to win these victories has been brutal.  Here goes.  A report from people in the trenches.

In Carson City, the vast numbers of Ron Paul supporters made no difference.  The chair ignored them.  The Carson City Caucus was so ugly that the insider, GOP, Romney establishment itself splintered under the pressure.  More than one eyewitness compared it to rape.

This from a GOP insider who has been used in the past as a Sergeant of Arms.  “It was disgusting. The whole atmosphere was negative.  The leaders were angry and arrogant.  One fellow had a legitimate question about procedures and was shouted down by the chair. He was then escorted out by the Sgt at Arms to be talked to. This question was answered with one sentence later, during the proceedings!”

Here are some observations from Tom Mangone, a businessman.

“One young man stood in the middle of the group of the candidates he supported. He was very calmly stating that we all came here to become delegates to represent our county. He stood his ground in a polite way to become a delegate. The gal who was ‘running’ our group condescendingly said, ‘Do you want me to call the Sergeant of Arms?’ I was proud of this young man, he calmly responded, ‘For what, wanting to participate?’ I later found out he was on the Nevada State Debate Team.

” A woman, who was pregnant and ready to give birth at any moment, participated in her  precinct meeting and became a delegate to the county convention. However, I do not believe she got the opportunity to become a delegate to state, based solely on the candidate she supports.

“But, a man, from my own precinct, who did not participate in the process and did not attend his precinct meeting, showed up only at the county convention. He stated that he could not even attend the state convention, but he became a delegate because of his candidate of choice. This took a spot from someone that wanted to represent Carson City and would have been at the state convention to do so.”

Jennifer Kruger, a professional businesswoman, wrote a critique of the event, point by point, that will break your heart.  I am trying to get permission to pass it on.

Another observer sent me this in an email: “What sickens me is the fact that most, if not all of those thirty and younger were Ron Paul supporters and they saw just what the good ol Boys and their of ladies had done to them and see how America works now at least in Carson City.

“I am sick of the old country club set, making their decisions behind their luxury doors, establishing ‘rules and techniques’ that enable them to have it ‘their way or the highway’ as declared by them from the podium.

“This country needs the young people and they were raped at the Carson City GOP Convention and it was sad to watch helplessly!”

Concludes Mangone: “You read about these kinds of events happening elsewhere, not thinking that it could happen here. I left wondering if we were still in America. It seems that while attending an event such as this you would think we would all be on the same team.  And even though the front table suggested that we were, they insisted we get divided in four separate groups. I counted on these people to do the ‘right thing’ and I was sadly mistaken.

“I guess I should feel lucky because in other countries if you question how the voting process is ran or decline to share who you voted for, you wind up in jail or a bullet is put in your head. Sadly, this country is heading towards that mentality. Trust is now completely gone for the Carson County Republican Party.

“I saw the faces of several individual voters, (for most this was their first convention experience), and there was disbelief from all arenas. Many could not believe the Republican leaders did this and a few stated that they were no longer interested in politics. More and more of these types of events are happening across the country and it is driving a wedge right through the Republican Party. Many Republican voters have been lost. With the polls showing such a close race this type of behavior is gift wrapping Obama another four years in office.”

But Carson City corruption aside, statewide, Ron Paul is prevailing.  In Henderson, Nevada he swept all state delegates from Nye County and won a strong majority of state delegates from Douglas County.

Nye County Republican Party leadership had attempted to fill empty precinct delegate slots with people who failed to be elected or even participate in the February 4th caucus precinct meetings.  Ron Paul supporters worked tirelessly to keep the convention running by Republican Party rules.  After a tiring circle of threats from the chair to shut down the proceedings unless attendees turned a blind eye to the cheating, Paul supporters elected a chair determined to conduct the proceedings in a fair manner.

With this blow was dealt to the current Nye County Republican Party leadership, they all departed – forfeiting any intention to represent or lead their county to the state convention.  The end result in Nye County was a fair, compliant election of a slate of delegates and alternate delegates to the state convention, all backing Dr. Paul.

Farther west in Douglas County, Ron Paul supporters locked down more than half of the 108 state delegates and many alternate delegate positions.

Reflecting on the powerful impact the Paul conservative movement is having in Nevada, Ron Paul 2012 Nevada State Chairman Carl Bunce said, “Supporters of Dr. Paul are reshaping Republican politics in Nevada.  They have the stamina and determination to bring the party back to its limited government roots, county by county.”

The Nye and Douglas successes add to a decisive victory in Clark County, the populous county encompassing Las Vegas.  In Clark, Paul secured approximately 60 percent of the delegates heading to the state convention, and won a supermajority of the Clark County Republican Executive Board.

Progress and momentum such as in this is hardly limited to Nevada.  It is happening in Washington, Missouri, Iowa and other states.  There are setbacks.  In North Dakota, where on Super Tuesday Rick Santorum won and Ron Paul came in second, the state convention was hijacked by Mitt Romney lawyers.  Romney, who came in third place in the Super Tuesday voting, nevertheless took 60% of the delegates there, even though outnumbered at the convention.

Says Jesse Benton,  Ron Paul Campaign Chairman, of the battles now raging at state conventions, “Beltway insiders might dismiss it, some in the media may choose to overlook it, and establishment party hacks will at times cheat, but nothing can stop the Ron Paul-influenced reawakening of the conservative movement in America.  Voters are smarter than the representation they’re getting and the empty rhetoric of fake conservatives and serial hypocrites.”

    1. “With the polls showing such a close race this type of behavior is gift wrapping Obama another four years in office.”—-That is the whole idea. Divide and conquer. Sadly, Obama will be reelected(by hook or crook). Romney wasn’t electable 4yrs ago. He isn’t electable now. The elite pick those that will jump to their tune. All but RP will only need to know how high to jump. The fix is in.

      1. Methinks you GROSSLY overestimate the impact, as a relatively minute number of people go to the caucuses than vote. Plus, they will have had time to settle down and come to their senses before the fall election. LOL

      2. romney, santorum, and gingrich are unelectable, plus none of them can beat obama. romney is their guy, but he is on the level of bush jr when he speaks. its very comical to watch them scramble to make sure people dont find out Paul’s policies.
i have even wondered if tex2 is paid to argue here. if he is, hes doing a lousy job.
        now to fleece the sheep…..

      3. All you have to do is go to the internets to find out about RP. Have they now hidden RP’s youtube videos? LOL

    1. Maybe so, but when compared to the rest of the candidates, he is the most conservative choice. Thats an easy one.

      1. Ron Paul is the only one that makes any sense. The others just continue all the BS talk about Iran, like we cant tell they lie.
Ron Paul with the only Sane foreign policy. Its just pathetic that anyone votes for the others. Sheeple.
Hes the only one that actually offers a solution to the deficit.
Why would i vote for anyone else? LOL

      2. I am a REAL Texan, and have been for 36 years; I support Ron Paul and will be going to Travis County GOP offices, tomorrow, to PLEDGE just this. I am hoping to be a delegate for Paul, but only for Paul.
The way i see it, ONLY Paul is behaving as a REAL Republican, and a real conservative.
Ignore “Tex2”, as he will spin a yarn, call names, and really is not worth your time. The guy must support Obama, or is simply another NEOCON (well, can be both Dem and Rep and be Neocon), and has lost his way. He’s stuck, it seems, on Doug Wead’s blogsite, where he trolls all posts and ALL comments that are positive to Paul.
He does not seem to comprehend that one can (and should) have libertarian values while being a REAL Republican.
These dolts and their “Ron Paul is a Libertarian” (cap L) spiel are so twenty years ago.

    2. If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism.

I think conservatism is really a misnomer just as liberalism is a misnomer for the liberals — if we were back in the days of the Revolution, so-called conservatives today would be the Liberals and the liberals would be the Tories.

The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is.

      1. Great Reagan quote Neville – I love that one. That whole interview in Reason Magazine was fantastic and is great ammunition when the “Ron Paul is not a conservative” types come out of the woodwork.

    3. No, they are different. I don’t care what the definitions were 250 years ago. Libertarianism is a dangerous policy when it comes to defending ourselves. Period.

      1. here we go again with the “dangerous” bit. Didnt we laugh at that back in November, after the Iowa debate? Yeah , thats right. Youtube ;” Ron Paul is dangerous” LOL

Whats dangerous is the current foreign policy. After 10 years of fighting in Iraq, and Afghanistan, can you tell me that things are better? Here their not, and its certainly worse over there.Only Irag is now under control of Islamic extremists, and look at all the recent “adventures” in Afghanistan. Now they want to go into Iran? So i would say that it is important to get Ron Paul in office. For the US and the rest of the world.

      2. “3.1 National Defense
We support the maintenance of a sufficient military to defend the United States against aggression.
The United States should both avoid entangling alliances and abandon its attempts to act as
policeman for the world. We oppose any form of compulsory national service.” lp.org

Libertarians have no problem with defending ourselves, we have a big problem spilling blood and and wasting treasury INVADING other countries.

      3. I don’t know much about the libertarian being a dangerous policy when it comes to defending ourselves. What is with the “Period”? Anyway, it sounds like a load of horseshit. I will be first in line along with an overwhelming number of other good people in this country to kick any ass that comes in my back yard to start trouble. And my/OUR back yard is this whole beautiful country!

      4. tex2, you revealed a bit of your position, you disagree with foreign policy. What’s dangerous? Saying “Period” is extremely lame. How does “Libertarian” differ from “Conservative” in your misunderstanding? Hint: use the word “Constitutional” to win friends and influence people, “American exceptionalism” to whack the hornet’s nest.

      5. First of all, Ron Paul supports a stronger national defense than any other candidate, so regardless of whether you capitalize the ‘L’ or not, playing your word games, we’d be safer with Dr. Paul at the helm.
Secondly, it’s obvious that many of our current security issues are a direct result of our interventionalism in the middle east. Whether you talk about us arming Saddam Hussein so he could keep Iran down, or having the CIA train and supply Osama Bin Laden when the Russians were in Afghanistan, or even if you talk about Operation Ajax back in the 50s, where we overthrew a democratically elected government in Iran because Britain thought they weren’t getting a big enough slice of Iran’s oil profits, literally EVERY TIME we have interfered in the middle east it has cost us dearly. Why can’t people like you learn from history Tex2? Interfering over there is making the world more dangerous, PERIOD.

      1. Not all libertarians. There is some amount of diversity in the libertarian camp. Paul has justified his pro-life stance using libertarian arguments.

    4. Is it conservative to spend more money than Obama? Romney, Santorum and Gingrich would *increase* the budget, spending more money than Obama has spent in the last fiscal year. The only candidate who would decrease spending is Ron Paul.

      1. He veered off into the Libertarian Party (Independent Party) for a short period, when Reagan became such a terrible president. I appreciated Ron Paul for doing that, as i had voted for RR, and ended up very disappointed in him, too. Star Wars (the US Program, not the show) was, in my opinion, ridiculous..

But, yes; he did return to the GOP pretty quickly, so I get disgusted when these dolts call him “Libertarian”. He does have libertarian ideas, but don’t all real Republicans?

    5. wow, youre not that educated on what it means to be “conservative”. LOL

Its funny that you are trying to tell people here of all places about “conservative”. LOL

  1. There is not one doubt in my mind who to vote for and that is Ron Paul. He is the only candidate who is even for Americans. The others are for everybody except Americans. How any of these other candidates can even be considered for the job is beyond me. The others want to continue to tax and spend, give our borrowed money to other countries, police the world at our expense, control our every move from craddle to grave, treat us like idiots who can not take care of ourselves without there constant vigilance, strengthen the already giant monopolies of the media, hollywood, banking, federal reserve, defense machine, and retail prices of everything, for the wealthy elite. Our country has been taken over by outsiders who do not have our best interest in mind. Israel has more power in our country than all the teachers associations of america put together. Inorder to run for a major office you must have the blessings of the american israel political action group or there media will exclude you as being unelectable and proceed to destroy you in the eyes of the voters. You have only to look at what they did to president carter when he came out with his book about “the truth” how Israel is mistreating the palestinians. ..He was attacked by the american media from all sides, which is proof enough for me to be in favor of immediate break up of our media monopoly with redistribution of stations to insure freedom of speech for all. Ron Paul is the only candidate who has not agreed to attack Iran at the demand of Israel. Therefore he is considered unelectable by the media and all the people who live by the word of the media. If the jews want peace , they should agree to give up there atomic bombs in exchange for Iran stopping there atomic adventures. If either country needs atomic energy for utilities, they should be allowed to buy atomic power plants from the major powers, with the main goal being to do away with atomic weapons as soon as possible for all. The day of aggression must be over for all and we must learn to be happy with what we have and never covet what our neighbor has

      1. What a crock of poo-poo. LOL

You say you don’t want to intervene in the affairs of other countries, then turn around and want to tell Israel what to do. LOL

    1. Dont falter in these ideas, no matter what they say, good news is coming soon–5 months until Tampa! They might steal the election, but Dr Paul is educating the masses, especially the college age group. so either way, the ideas of liberty are spreading, and its only a matter of time. The GOP will be commiting suicide by snubbing Paul.
Just imagine the shock of the “sheeple”(like tex2) if we get the pleasure of a Paul vs Obame debate. Paul would destroy Obama on signing extremely unconstitutional legislation, such as NDAA, and HR347, and the others. Romney supports NDAA, and the others just dont have a chance.Paul is the only one that can beat Obama, the others are the same as Obama.

Im pretty sure there will be a big surprise in August, when the real delegate counts are announced.

      1. Does Ron Paul still have the college crowd from 1988? If so, it should take him only about 100 years to come up with a majority! LOL

  2. Most meetings in Nevada were conducted well and fairly. This was related to me by credible Carson City County delegates, so you’re getting it second hand, but their grievances will, hopefully, soon be available for everyone to read.

The Carson City GOP political machine systematically planned the destruction of the fair meeting process. They did not comply with the state Republican Party rules. Even the seating arrangement was set up to box in the Ron Paul precincts. There were people planted into the crowd on the ends of the aisles to impede movement so that Ron Paul supporters were slowed down or completely not allowed to move to the microphone. Even when a proper motion was successfully stated and seconded, Chairwoman, Carol Howell pretended not to hear the seconds when they were loudly and clearly stated. And when she finally did admit to hearing the motion to select delegates from the floor, one of her cohorts leaned toward her and said, “We’re not gonna to do that.”

I’m told that the Sergeant-at-Arms was the husband of Chairwoman Howell http://ccrccgop.com/ccrcc-executive-board.html

Multiple grievances have been made over the egregious violations of the rules at the Carson City County convention. Even Romney and Santorum supporters who were there were embarrassed and angry over the way the meeting was conducted. One delegate who was not a Ron Paul supporter, threw down her credentials and left the meeting in protest.

  3. Mr. Wead, your communications are very much appreciated but could you and/or Dr. Paul say something… i don’t know… substantial about how the overall campaign is doing? Or give some info to regional coordinators so they can pass it on to us?

Because i don’t know about everyone else but this alternating good news/bad news leaves me not knowing what to think and to be honest it takes some of the air out of my tires.

Don’t get me wrong i’m in for as long as the fight lasts and i will stand up to intimidation and rule-breaking. But knowing the odds against us, every one of these defeats seems huge. It’s dispiriting to me and i’m sure a lot of supporters are feeling the same. With the establishment GOP trying to tell us it’s all over, we can’t afford to lose people who might believe that narrative but i am seeing it expressed in comment sections all over the place.

    Please throw us some encouragement.

Thank you for your dedication to the cause.

    1. Joe,

Will do. However, several things are accomplished by exposing some of these shenanigans to the sunshine.

First, we have actually been able to reverse some of the actions at the state level where officials are shamed into doing the right thing and correcting their colleagues.

Second, by exposing the tactics used to co-opt conventions in one state, we have been able to prepare our people and defeat those tactics in another. It has allowed us to win many conventions that might have fallen for the same thing. The pain of some has helped avoid the pain of others.

Third, we are serving notice to corrupt party bosses that we will expose what they say and do. That has led to more rational and orderly conventions. Otherwise there is little accountability.

But your point is appreciated and well taken. And we have more good news coming.

      Doug

      1. I think you said it best recently.”You keep lying about us..well we’re gonna start telling the truth about you”.

      2. Mr. Weed – we have talked in our state about putting together a Roberts Rules cheat sheet to help us in the delegate selection meetings, so that we don’t get taken by surprise by some technical process chicanery, but we didn’t really know where to look for such a document. Furthermore we don’t want to openly ask for such information, because we’re trying to fly under the radar as much as possible and not let anyone local to us understand just how serious a threat we are.
Hearing what the establishment types have done in other states is great, but all the news has been very high level – what could *really* help the grass roots campaigns in each state is if we could get a short document that lists in painful detail all the parliamentary tricks that have been attempted so far, and what the correct response is to negate it. Something like this would be absolutely invaluable to those of us who are just getting involved in politics and don’t have much experience in the areas of politics or debate.
For example I know I have seen at least one video on youtube where a chairperson put out a non-favorable delegate slate, had someone immediately second it, called the question immediately, and then tried to railroad through the voice-vote despite calls of “division”. If something like that happens I would love to know what the right action would be. I’ve read some Roberts Rules, but it didn’t mention that, so I have to fall back to StarWars where they call for a vote of no confidence in the Emperor. 🙂
If the Chair is blatantly ignoring the rules, is there a procedural way to remove them from the position? Can this be done literally without their consent?

      3. Mr. Wead, I very much appreciate you being on the side of Liberty. Your interviews shed much needed light in the midst of all the media disinformation. It seems obvious that it is an attempt to create a perceived winner, to sway the less savvy TV audience. You televised interviews are very revealing on the subject of the media smear of Dr Paul, and you have achieved “hero” status for “telling the truth” on MSM. I look forward to more. Thank you.

By the way, do you have any ideas or suggestions on how we can combat this horrible MSM that is misinforming so many?

  4. Thanks, Doug, for yet another informative post. I hope people are paying attention to the reality of this situation, and i hope these neocons do not convince them to leave the GOP, based on the way the shoddy treatment of others.
What the neocons– and FAKE conservatives- do not comprehend is that we do know what the Republican agenda WAS and that current-day Reps still want to say they are representative of that party. How can they be when they want MORE wars (preemptive wars, too), more SPENDING, higher taxes, and worst of all; LESS liberty? That is exactly what a Republican stood for back in the day. So, how do they vote for the people who will do exactly what the party does NOT want, and call themselves, “conservative” (or even decent people), at the same time? I don’t get it.
I shall have to steel myself when I go into the GOP offices, here in Austin, to pledge MY support for the Republican Party. I have always been an Indy, but this is only because the Reps and Dems are both so awful, it’s been impossible for me to go along with their candidates. This year is different, for me. Ron Paul embodies everything I expect in a conservative and a real Republican. I hope, when I go in to vote– and hopefully to convene, later– I will not be met with anything as bad as has been transpiring in other states. It seems that almost every state has something terrible going on (and it is always the “old partiers” perpetrating what I will call fraud, voter suppression, and just disgusting behaviour). I don’t know how I will handle this, and I do hope I am allowed to speak, in order to convince people that they DO want Ron Paul, based on actual party values- and nobody BUT Paull.

We shall see, and I do expect a bit of an argument, but hope it’s not more than that.
    Glad I found your blogsite.
Would you tell me (if you know) how I can link your site to mine?
Again; thank you for ALL you do for Ron Paul and for US. You are a good man, Doug Wead.

  5. BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) is about to pee on Romney’s parade. Romney should consider himself lucky if he is not behind bars within six months.

    1. So I have heard! There was one thing in a BLOG, today, yet I have heard absolutely nothing from the ME-Dia. Should I be surprised? I shouldn’t be, but i still am, to an extent.
I tend to get this info from twitter or by doing searches (and will find one little note). it’s like the Santorum racist quote– which is covered on youtube, by private video-makers, but has yet to make it into the “newzz”.
Of course, were they to cover this OR the Goldman Sachs debacle, they would be waking the people up, rather than continuing to lull them to sleep. Surely, that cannot happen; not in this democratic and fair society!

  6. attended clark county washington caucus for state delegates. the people running it were totally incompetent. the registration took forever, they wasted our time all morning and most of the afternoon, finally had first vote about 3:30, had to extend the time to 8:00 so we could vote a second time, tried to get in a 3rd vote but shut it down at 8, no more time extensions. did not get our 32 delegates and did not get any alternates. if we are to look to those people in charge to be our leaders, we are in deep deep trouble.

  7. Ron Paul is clearly the classiest guy among every other candidate. He cant be bought, in an age of assembly line fraud production and sovereign deficiencies.

Ron Paul represents your individual personal liberty. That means he is representing you, in particular. Not because you belong to a group or a demographic, but because you are an individual.

I am watching this message bring all walks together. Ron Paul is a vote for the commons. He has the voice of the people, and the voting record to illustrate that clearly, his record and his message are one and the same.

Ron Paul is good and powerful medicine for Americas economic deficiencies. His position of a strong national defense coupled with his wise approach to foreign policy and the golden rule is a lung full of clean open air.

    Freedom and Liberty is t r e n d i n g.

  8. Through economic attrition, the Federal Reserve is a clear and present danger to the national security of the US. Ron Paul swore to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, fake liberals or fake conservatives.

  9. The choice in this election is CLEAR to all those who don’t have their heads up their hind ends or are just stubbornly close-minded to REAL change that benefits Americans, not just corporations and special interests. Ron Paul is the only NON-PUPPET in either party and for Americans to subvert his campaign is treasonous! Show some balls America and for once stand with someone who REALLY has your interests in mind, not just corporate backers and sponsors!

  10. I see ahead two doors.
The first door has a small sign above it, the second has a large sign. The first has many names and is covered with papers and books. The second has one name and a single parchment page.

The first door’s sign, in such small print that you may have a hard time reading it, is “slavery”
The second door’s sign in large bold letters is “FREEDOM”.
The books and papers on the first door are rules, laws, and orders. The names are too many to name.
The single paper on the second door you may recoginise, is the Constitution of the United States.
The single name on the second door? Ron Paul

    Which door will YOU choose?
(I’m choosing the second one with the Constitution and Ron Paul!)

  11. Btw; Doug Wead, I have one question for you:

Considering whom you’ve worked for in the past, and what these people ended up doing, is it not refreshing to work for an honest man? I’d love to hear your (full– open, honest) take on this!
Thanks, again, for all you do for Ron Paul and for liberty!

  12. I only wonder how far will they go to supress Ron Paul? Im sure we are in for more hijinx from the “establishment”. I cant imagine they are going to go quietly.
I encounter so many people that are unclear on Pauls policies, it can become quite discouraging seeing so many uninformed. Or should i say “misinformed”. I am losing patience with this situation, and frankly, it can be rather exhausting sifting thru the enourmous amount of reference (links) for the one best suiting that particular sheep. Its a shame that the meesage of Liberty is being made so hard to spread. I worry that there wont be enough time to get the Information to the rest of the “uninformed”.
I know that this is as important to you people here, as it is to me, and my children, and people across America. Even for those short sighted ones, like tex2. He may say what he likes, and yes he is wrong, we may not like what he says, but Paul defends his right to say it.

I propose to the other Patriots here, that we organize, with the intention of figuring out a way to spread the “correct”, non media spin version of Ron Pauls policies. The misinformation is rampant, and it is driving me crazy, as imsure same for a lot of you.
    ———————————————————————————
So does anyone have any interesting ideas on how we can educate some sheeple? Preferrably large groups at a time.
    ———————————————————————————–

I hope that everyone realized that tex3 is not the same as commenter tex2. Over the past couple of weeks, i just got tired of tex2 comments. They were ignorant. It was nice to read today with out any new crap from tex2. Maybe i ruined his fun. I did to him what he has been doing to us. LOL however, Im sure he will be back.

again; So does anyone have any interesting ideas on how we can educate some sheeple? Preferrably large groups at a time. This would be to our benifit if we could somehow combat the disinformation about Dr Paul.

    1. What has worked for me, when discussing Paul with those who don’t get what the man stands for is this:
(of course, I speak to friends, who happen to be my age– around 50 to 60 yrs,)
Do you remember, when we were kids, what Republicans were? Do you remember when it was the Republicans who fought for less intervention; more peace, less war? Remember when Republicans wanted less taxation and smaller government? Remember (to those who still consider themselves GOP) why you signed on with the GOP? Ron Paul is exactly what you signed up to vote for. So, why would you go with the Neocons, either Republican or Democrat, when that’s not what you want? Why vote for what the media calls the lesser of all the evil? Vote for a man you can be happy to have in the White-house, for yourself and for your children.
Do you want us to continue in all of these non-war-wars? Do you remember how Vietnam made the whole country feel? — how bad it was for our military? Do you see these vets still on the streets, unable to hold down jobs, begging for spare change? Do you want another generation of this? Are you aware of the horrible number of suicides, by our current military, post Iraq and.or Afghanistan? (give numbers) Ron Paul wants peace, yet if we are attacked or threatened, he does want the capability to defend US. Do you want your kids sent to some other country for another country that says she can defend herself? (I am talking of Israel.) Israel has stated she CAN defend herself, that they don’t need our help and/or our military, so why are we so willing to put our kids in harms’ way for them? They don’t need it.
When it comes to defense; Ron Paul is not for cutting defense, either the defense budget or the number of military personnel required, in the USA, to defend us. So, why do we want to continue to send these kids to other parts of the world; all parts of the world, when it’s not in our best interest? Ron Paul wants to bring these kids home. He wants to stop wasting so much time and man-power there, close bases there (which really do not defend USA) and allow our active-duty military to spend their meager salaries here, at home, where everyone benefits. The losses in lives of our kids is inexcusable, especially when we know now these wars were/are based on lies.
If the person is worried about something else, like cutting the different departments (in Fed govt), I usually say: Do we really need to be taxed higher so we can afford to pay these overseers to oversee the State departments (overseers, themselves), which we vote in and we have much more of a voice in electing? Why not just close these departments and allow the states to fend for themselves without the national or federal interruption? It is in our best interest to not have more government, especially when we are running into such dire financial circumstances; besides, can we afford all of these departments, wars, militarism, much longer?
I say we cannot, and Ron Paul is the only person running that agrees with me (and the person I am speaking to).
      Hope that helps!
It is just my take on it.

  13. This is how i deal with tex2. I put the same picture as him, and then just do nothing but seek out his garbage, and counter it. To me, tex2 represents those sheep that are running around thinking Paul wants to “end Social Security”, or “Close every Government Agency”. I dont know how many times I can tell people to look at RonPaul2012.com so they can see “the Plan to Restore America”, which has the correct budget, or agency cuts. I dont think people are looking. WHat can we do to spread the information, more specificly, i would like to see Pauls policies posted out in public places, so people can get valid info.

I will be posting under hink unless tex2 comes back, and if your reading this, tex2 i dont care. Your welcome to post here, i quite enjoted clowning you.

Dont be shy with ideas to inform the masses, please post

    1. Just wrote a long response, to how I deal with it.
Yes, I guessed (easily) that Tex3 could not be Tex2. Tec2 is just a nasty child, and you are, obviously, not.
I just don’t like that the punk uses any TEX name, as i am a Texan, and I don’t want people to think all Texans are stupid. I wondered, though, if Tex2 might have been Perry on a bender. (another bender..)

      1. Why Ron Paul would NOT be a good president:
        1. He is old, mousey, whiny, grumpy, skinny, etc. Do not underestimate the importance of these factors, as a very large number of voters are not familiar with the issues, and vote for vanity. Sad but true. It does no good to have good ideas when you don’t have the presidential image, and Ron has neither.
        2. He has been in Congress for 2 decades and doesn’t have a single bill to his name. We elected someone president with zero accomplishments in 2008, why would we want to do that again? How can you expect him to be able to lead the country when he can’t lead a single bill to fruition after 20 years?
        3. He even voted against his own bill to audit the Federal Reserve, because he didn’t get every single detail he wanted. He is so stubbornly rigid he simply takes his toys and goes home if he doesn’t get every little detail he wants.
        4. Many of his domestic policies are admirable, but how does he expect to implement them when he will have to work with Congress to get many of them turned into a reality? Will he simply hold his breath until Congress lets him get his way, because he has zero track record of using any other tactic to be successful?
        5. Most of his foreign policies are dangerous. If we pull out of foreign countries, the vacuum WILL be filled by Russia, China, etc. Once you lose your toehold, it is VERY difficult to expand military operations if the need arises. Think about how hard it would have been for the U.S. to fight Hitler if England had fallen. For example, if China decides they don’t want to allow free flow of oil, we would have no recourse, as it takes years, if not decades, to develop independent energy sources. He is simply naive to the point of being a traitor to his own country. Also, we need forward positioned military presence to fight the global war on terror. It isn’t being fought only in Iraq and Afghanistan, there are operations literally around the world preventing future 9/11 type attacks that simply cannot be fought by guarding our own borders, 9/11 should have taught us that. We must therefore disrupt the terrorist cells wherever they are, so they cannot organize, plan, recruit, train, equip, and attack again. To not do this would be suicidal.
For the above and other reasons, Ron gets the pot smoking and “freedom at any cost” crowd, and that’s all he will ever get.

      2. hey tex2, i was wondering when you would chime in, with your “contrast” comments. sinceyou could only copy and paste your answer from wherever you found it, i will answer the bottom one with the missing logic; see below. Where is LOL?

      3. First you ask for examples, then you are unable to respond, for ALL to see! In case you “forgot” the issues, see below, LOL:

      4. you are getting quite boring to deal with, can you think of something new, the copy and paste isnt challenging enough, and lacks any merit, as if you ran out of ideas to argue against Paul. It reminds me of when MSM couldnt say anything bad about Paul, so they just kept repeating already answered questions. That seems to be your problem as well———-LOL

      5. Yes; exactly– BORING.
It’s just “blah blah blah”, but with the Charlie Brown teacher-voice.
        Boring. Nothing to read there.

      6. The difference is NOBODY has answered my questions! LOL:

  14. It seems that i might have ruined tex2s fun here. Its hard to under stand how someone like tex2 can hang around this site, read all this stuff, and then still not understand our “government” problem.
Mr weads stuff is great, and im glad hes on the side of Liberty. Its great watching him spank MSM with the truth.

Anyways, Texans cant be stupid, you guys have Ron Paul!

      1. No LOL? feelings hurt?
Is it harder to “harass” people when it starts to happen to you? LOL

      2. I don’t always LOL, it’s usually when responding to your stupidity. LOL

It’s easy to harass Paulites, and they don’t have a clue what’s going on! LOL

See below for comments you haven’t addressed, even though YOU asked for them!!! LOL

      3. Again, tex2 outta gas, copy and pasting same old post. i tore it apart yesterday. tex2, Maybe you should take a good look at your post, it looks like you should be on Nickelodeon, LOL

    2. Thanks, Hink.
I am thinking Tex-2 is not a Texan- or not a full-fledged (like grown up) Texan, so I will have to ignore it’s childish comments.
I did hear back from State Chair (GOP) and Travis County chair, re: my letter of volunteerism and desire to be delegate as well as possible precinct chair. I was welcomed, and told I would, “love it”. This gives me hope!
I’ll probably post some of the exchange on my own blog, where I can get rid of idiots, at my leisure.

      1. There are a LOT more Texans (native and imported) not voting for RP than voting for him. LOL

You asked me to provide real issues, then you can’t respond when I post them. LOL

      2. Texas must be proud to have Ron Paul, They elected Ron Paul to be their Congressman. There are a lot of sheep not voting for Ron Paul, like tex2. When the deception is over, people like tex2 will realize their errors in judgement about Paul, and they will understand that they were duped by MSM. LOL

      3. Great! Ive seen your comments elsewhere such as on the Dailypaul, and im sure you will make a great delegate. Congrats and you must be honored to represent DR Paul.
Be watchful, i dont thing weve seen the end of the “desperation acts” from the “obsolete” members of the GOP. They have proven that they will try anything.

      4. tex2 said; You asked me to provide real issues, then you can’t respond when I post them. LOL

        ———————————————————————————

you havent provided any real issues—LOL

      5. The idea of a Santorum presidency—–LOL

Everybody is well aware of the attempts of the establishment to create any other perceived winner than Paul, with the intentions of swaying undecided voters into thinking Paul has no support. But if you examine the numerous instances of paul supporters taking over the chair at many different caucuses, it tells the story that is not told on your TV set. Everyone here is aware of these tactics, they hold no merit with many.
What about the recent Rassmussen Poll that shows Paul above Obama?

        http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/The-Vote/2012/0228/Ron-Paul-poll-shocker-He-beats-Obama-head-to-head

        LOL

  15. Hey, Doug Wead?
If you have not noticed, your blog is being spammed by a ridiculous troll, Tex2 (not to be confused with Tex3). Now the idiot is reposting the worst stupidity I’ve yet read (any part of).
    So, would you mind, Doug?

    Thanks!

    1. Just think, why Tex2 is busy playing with him self, Ron Paul supporters are out winning delegates and others are triangulating his location to deal with him in a manner appropriate to his behavior.

      1. Robert, when I said it was the worst of any I’ve read any part of, I meant I scanned the first couple of lines, then decided to leave it be, Still, were this my blog and that tool was there, he’d be gone– immediately.
Why should we have to put up with the harassment on pro-Paul sites? I now comprehend why Daily Paul charges a fee to post. It keeps the dregs away.
Yes, PAUL is winning delegates- this I know, as I have just signed on, today. to be a delegate in Texas. Could be I’ll even end up as my precinct’s chair!

      2. Just think, while robertfallin is busy playing with him self, Ron Paul supporters are out thinking they are winning delegates and others are triangulating RP’s location to deal with him in a manner appropriate to his behavior.

      3. lets look at the positive side of this tex2 comment situation; Its actually nice to have a “real time” guage of the opposition. Tex2 provides us with a constant reminder that the opposition doesnt actually have a legitimate arguement. He talks in circles, and mentions “unanswered questions” that nobody knows about, maybe he forgot to ask them.
People that are against a Paul presidency never seem to have a solid arguement. Usually it is based on a misunderstanding of Pauls policies. MSM is usually the culprit behind misconceptions, like tex2’s. LOL

      4. The positive side is the Paulites are unable to defend RP’s positions. Would you like me to repeat them? See below:

Why Ron Paul would NOT be a good president:

      5. tex2 with the same old copy and paste garbage, what a boring commenter. I tore his list up yesterday-LOL@tex2

      1. see below answer to your misinformation,
My pleasure to fleece you of the ignorance, sheep LOL

    3. Hey, Doug Wead?
If you have not noticed, your blog is inhabited by people who kept complaining I didn’t list my issues with RP (although I did), but then when I posted them together they want me to give up my Constitutional right that RP values so highly and not be allowed to post.
So, would you mind, Doug? LOL

      1. Why dont you tell your mommy, i dont think Doug will waste his time with your garbage, remember, if you look at your comments here as a whole, you might realize why you are not getting a response, give it a try. LOL

      1. While some may not like what you say, Ron Paul protects your right to say it.

Personally, i like clowning you here. LOL

Remember, tex2, quite a few of these people here will be voting for Ron Paul at these conventions as delegates. so while you are here typing away, trying to figure out something smart to say, we will be promoting Ron Paul at the GOP conventions.

        LOL

      2. tex2 getting sloppy, repeating comments. Not so fun when the tables get turned on you—LOL

      3. I couldn’t care less about the Paulites here, I’m ensuring anybody who trips across this site will easily see you Paulites can’t answer simple questions and won’t be joining your effort! LOL

Feel free to respond Paulites, I even numbered the items for you! LOL

      4. This has more substance than you can handle! LOL

  16. Mr. Wead,

Thank you for your dedication and work to further the liberty movement. I know how wonderful you would feel if our campaign is successful! Just imagine it…

This may be off-topic but I assure you it is important. As a former employee with your campaign, I urge you please to do me a favor read this post.

    *****
    Question:
Why is the campaign not actively marketing Ron Paul’s foreign policy?

The conventional wisdom says that Republican voters will never agree with Paul’s foreign policy. Therefore, the focus must be on the economy (Paul’s strength) in order to convince the voters that the economy is the real issue of the day.

Why do I believe this is wrong? Simple: because it’s not working!

All politics is MARKETING. (Except in between campaigns, where it’s mostly networking)

In marketing, you must understand a very important principle: People do not make decisions based on what they think – they make decision based on how they FEEL.

Republican voters are AFRAID of terrorism. They weigh “death from terrorism” as more frightful that an uncertain economy. No matter how logical an argument might be regarding the terrors of an economic collapse – it simply does NOT register with their emotions. It does not weigh heavier than death.

Therefore, we must market Ron Paul’s foreign policy in a way that makes the voter FEEL safe from the bad guys.

Why do politicians say “we must stop Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon at any cost” and say nothing else? Because it appeases the voters fear/emotions! It is that simple.

Think about it this way: Does Apple market their products as more powerful, simpler, and useful than PCs? No. They market to consumer’s EMOTIONS of wanting to be “hip” and “cool”. (I’m a Mac vs I’m a PC commercial) How are drugs advertised on TV?

Average Republican voters do NOT have a true foreign policy of their own. They are not educated enough to truly form one. Their foreign policy is simply this: “Protect America.” (This is why they’re so adamant about a “strong national defense”.)

UNLESS you market Ron Paul’s foreign policy as PROTECTING America from the bad guys – not through logical argument but through emotional appeasement – we will NEVER receive the support we need to win!

This is why we’re losing primaries. Period.

The plus? We have truth and facts on our side. Marketing/advertising based on intellect + emotion will always defeat marketing based solely on emotion. But marketing based solely on intellect will ALWAYS lose to marketing based on emotion.

This is just how people operate.

I would love to send you an example of this marketing in action and would be glad to work with your campaign, again. Please contact me for further discussion.

  17. ok, ok . Ill volunteer to take out the trash, I got this; lets take this apart;

I though RP was for free speech? Why can’t you answer my questions. Perhaps you would like me to repeat them:

Why Ron Paul would NOT be a good president:
    1. He is old, mousey, whiny, grumpy, skinny, etc. Do not underestimate the importance of these factors, as a very large number of voters are not familiar with the issues, and vote for vanity. Sad but true. It does no good to have good ideas when you don’t have the presidential image, and Ron has neither.
    ———————————————————————————–
uninformed voters, voting under this logic, will not be doing any favors for their country. Kind of like the old lady on youtube supporting Romney, because “he has nice hair”–LOL
    ————————————————————————————-

    2. He has been in Congress for 2 decades and doesn’t have a single bill to his name. We elected someone president with zero accomplishments in 2008, why would we want to do that again? How can you expect him to be able to lead the country when he can’t lead a single bill to fruition after 20 years?
    ————————————————————————————-
This is very revealing, when everybody knows Pauls Libertarian views. It illustrates the problem of our government abandoning the constituents, in favor of corp lobbyist dollars. Pauls logic is clear, he stands for the constitution, but corp interests like custom taylored legislation that eliminates any competition, at the expense of our liberties. I say that the 2 decades has prepared him well for the reform of the FEDERAL Government. 20 years experience, with no flaws to the voting record, sounds good to me. LOL
    ——————————————————————————–

    3. He even voted against his own bill to audit the Federal Reserve, because he didn’t get every single detail he wanted. He is so stubbornly rigid he simply takes his toys and goes home if he doesn’t get every little detail he wants.
    ——————————————————————————–
Good. Obviously the legislation he proposed about auditing the FED is needed. And you better believe it will happen, as more wake up to the reality of the FED driving the dollar into the ground. I trust that if he voted against it, it is because ammendments were made to cater to the interests of the corrupt FED. Underneath your reasoning, one can conclude that the curruption among our Government is widespread. More reason to vote for Ron Paul—–LOL
    ——————————————————————————-

    4. Many of his domestic policies are admirable, but how does he expect to implement them when he will have to work with Congress to get many of them turned into a reality? Will he simply hold his breath until Congress lets him get his way, because he has zero track record of using any other tactic to be successful?
    ——————————————————————————–
It is true that they block legislation that threatens their “gravy train” Why not get into detail about his bills?
    Or see above answer—LOL
    ——————————————————————————–

    5. Most of his foreign policies are dangerous. If we pull out of foreign countries, the vacuum WILL be filled by Russia, China, etc. Once you lose your toehold, it is VERY difficult to expand military operations if the need arises. ———————————————————————————-
    1. Reality; We are not at war with Russia, or China. However, a continuation of our current foreign policy will lead to that.

    2. the “war on terror”, or “the war on a “vague concept”. Named
so as to be able to spin the wheels of the military industrial complex “profit”. Only the sheeple glued to the TV news are still onboard with that sham on the American people. Many are tired of the military being used to further the agenda of the neocons,
if you are not familiar with that, google; PNAC, that is why we are in these wars. These wars (invasions) do not represent the will of the American people, they are only to further the globalist agenda- read the PNAC.
Why dont all the warmongers send their own children to these wars? Besides, if you are so worried about “911 style attacks”, how do you come to the conclusion that it is better for our military to be somewhere else?
If we would mind our own business, and stop trying to control any country that has resources, there would not be such hatred for America. Stop buying in to the “media warmongering”.
google and read the PNAC, and stop being such a sheep.
    ——————————————————————————-

    ———————————————————————————
If that is the case, then i am impressed how this group is managing to outsmart the “establishment” with their own rules.

About 67,800,000 results appear for a google search for the term; “Paul supporters take over” go ahead and give it a look.

    LOL

    1. 1. Your “explanation” does NOTHING to get RP elected. LOL

      5. Your “explanation” does NOTHING to get RP elected. LOL

You didn’t address a single issue I brought up, just put up your RP talking points without doing ANYTHING to refute my facts and logic. Typical Paulite “thinking.” LOL

RP and his sycophants hasn’t outsmarted anybody yet, plus you’re blabbing it all over the internets. The near 70 million hits is the opposition figuring you out! LOL

I googled “Jesus Christ is the devil” and got 55,300,000 hits, so what’s your point? Google hits do NOT equal votes, all the state primaries and caucuses are proving that! LOL

      1. Agreed, its the delegates that will do the work–LOL

Lets let the other readers decide if i addressed your “questions”

You might try reading some of the articles under the google results—-LOL

        Got any facts? LOL

      2. Repaeting yourself now, ok. You are starting to show signs of faltering in your unwinnable arguement. We both know how silly you look here—LOL

Maybe you should take your time when thinking of your answers, there is no rush, i will be here, so take your time, you will sound smarter. LOL

      3. tex2, im aware of my spelling error, but since you have no point, im sure you will cling to it—LOL

      4. Anyone else want to address these issues, which are the basis for RP doing so badly? LOL

Why Ron Paul would NOT be a good president:

    1. Quite the opposite. RP’s followers are attempting to delphi the process, and it isn’t working. LOL

By the way, remember to respond to my concerns about RP, repeated for your convenience, below:

Why Ron Paul would NOT be a good president:
      1. He is old, mousey, whiny, grumpy, skinny, etc. Do not underestimate the importance of these factors, as a very large number of voters are not familiar with the issues, and vote for vanity. 1. Maybe try to move on to some “newer” talking points, that copy and paste that you are using has already been torn apart, try something new, maybe you will get a response. LOL

      2. Well, it’s about time, I hope you didn’t step on any crickets! LOL

By the way, the early report from Maryland is RP is getting 8% of the primary vote, right in line with my 5-10% estimate of his support. But it’s still early with only 10% of the precincts reporting so far, so if the remotely located potheads take a while to get their vote in, maybe RP can crawl into being a double digit midget! LOL

Nobody has even made an attempt to “tear apart” my points. Your problem is you KNOW they are all true, and there is no way to refute them. LOL

Remember, you have to use facts and logic to deconstruct my facts and logic, not merely try to do an end-around by using the usual RP talking points! LOL

But in case you “forgot” the points, I’ll repeat them below, LOL:

Why Ron Paul would NOT be a good president:

  18. Hey Doug, I appreciate your stand with Paul, and was a delegate in the last WA Caucus. You, and Ron both have a characteristic chuckle that is delivered in every interview. I’d like to request that you let go of that, we need you to be serious now. The chuckle feels out of place. Romney delegates were better organized than the Paul delegates, and got steamrolled in District 5. The time for taking things lightly, and trying to chuckle off the dirty politics going on is over. We need you to be a strong & serious beacon for the remainder of the campaign.

    Ron Paul 2012

    1. Lee,

The chuckle is because both of them know RP doesn’t have a chance to be president, they will be making the big bucks writing books and making speeches when this is over, and you will go back into obscurity for another 4 years. LOL

In the meantime, enjoy your wine. LOL

      1. Let’s get back to your statements about Justin Beiber: Why are you so obsessed with him? Do you really plan to hurt him if you ever meet him? I think someone should notify the authorities about you.

      2. Okay, tex2, you have been desperate for my attention: here you go, but take head:
        Dearest Hunny-bunny, “tex2”.
I have decided, if you are going to take it upon yourself to attempt to interfere with my right to work within the GOP, as a delegate, or as a precinct chair, or as a poll-watcher or vote-clerk, I should help the truth to be known. I realize, if you want to send any member of the Texas GOP here (oh, and whaddya know? I AM a member of the Texas GOP, as is Ron Paul and as are ALL of his Texas supporters) to attempt to block me, or anyone else within and outside of this site, I believe they should see the game we have all been subjected to, perpetrated and perpetuated by YOU.
SO, if you have actually contacted the GOP in the great state of Texas, and they will check out this BLOG, I would suggest to you: Quick, like a bunny- remove ALL of your spammed postings, in order that you don’t come off as the whining and complaining child crying wolf.
Oh, but let me warn you: I have just un-deleted every one of your eighty-four spam posts, and i have them saved to my hard-drive. DO not mess with people who are serious about their choices and their votes. We take this very seriously, in Texas, and in the GOP. And, unlike other state caucuses, where crimes of vote-fraud and vote-suppression have taken place, we will not be putting up with any such thing.
I will stand by any and all of my statements. MY reason for wanting to be a precinct chair is exactly what I expressed to the leaders of MY party, the GOP, in Texas. I believe all people should retain and use the RIGHT to vote in whichever primary they chose, as long as they are voting within their correct area or precinct and are registered in that same precinct, and regardless of whom it is they choose as their nominee, I will protect that right for ALL.
So you had better sit down and have a good think before you accuse someone of malfeasance. I will not allow you to falsely accuse me or anyone else on this blogsite.
        Done.

      3. I talked with them on the phone as well. I can assure you, it was a VERY informative discussion. LOL

I don’t think I have the ability, and certainly don’t have the desire, to remove any of my posts. LOL

But I fail to see where I have done any of the things you accuse me of, but I shouldn’t be surprised an RP supporter has a warped sense of reality!!! LOL

      4. I like when Doug laughs at the MSM’s crazy questions, it illustrates how rediculous they are.

I wouldnt worry about tex2, he cant change anything. There is plenty of idiots thinking they can discourage RP delegates, loads of failed attempts on youtube. Since the GOP already got caught cheating, they will be on their best behavior when under the public eye, but expect more attempted shenanigans.
Maybe you can deduct from tex2’s threats(LOL) that you indeed will be an effective chairperson, which is my opinion as well. They are definitely afraid of the overwhelming amount of Paul support. Everyone knows the Paul won several states, but GOP switched the counts to Romney, showing how desperate they are. Desperation can be seen as an undertone to tex2’s under par approach. LOL

      5. Did you mean bluediculous or yellowdiculous? LOL

Stupidity can be seen as an undertone to tex3′s under par approach. LOL

  19. again;

    2. the “war on terror”, or “the war on a “vague concept”. Named
so as to be able to spin the wheels of the military industrial complex “profit”.

If that is the case, then i am impressed how this group is managing to outsmart the “establishment” with their own rules.

About 67,800,000 results appear for a google search for the term; “Paul supporters take over” go ahead and give it a look.

    LOL

Sheep,do you think you are getting to anyone here? You have no real arguement. LOL

Every American should vote in favor of personal liberties. Even you know that.

LOL

You can try again, see below, LOL:

    1. I look forward to more logical fallacies on your part. You fascinate me. What country are you from? I notice that you make a lot of grammatical errors that a foreigner would make. Why don’t you go outside once in awhile? There’s clouds and sky and stars to look at. You might meet a nice boy too, miss.

      1. Claim logical fallacies without listing them? LOL

Trying to change the subject to one of national origin without answering the issues raised? LOL

Again trying to change the subject to grammatical errors without listing any? LOL

Trying to change the subject again about how often I am outside? LOL

And once again try to change the subject by questioning my sexual orientation? LOL

What a weak excuse for a human being. You’re probably breathing my perfect good oxygen as well. LOL

      2. Hahahah..
        “Miss”.
It’s so easy, but so funny; after this tool has spammed the entire post, I appreciate this.
Btw: I AM going to be my precinct’s chair. I will make sure no voter-suppression takes place in MY part of Texas, and I think most Texans in the GOP are of the same mind.
So, though Mitt RomNOT does not think he needs to come to our debate (a nationally televised debate), down in Texas, I say; good. Let him stay home. It will leave more time for Ron Paul. And, Mitt won’t need our #155 delegates.
        Good.
Thanks for the fun in taking back the Doug Wead blog from this childish tool, “tex2” (yes, small “t”, as this cannot be a real, adult, Texan.)

      3. Thank you, Michael (that was funny).
I’m just excited that we have someone to put this child in his/her place… or, I should say, someone ELSE. Tex-3’s done pretty well, though the baby has come back again and again.
I think the little one has a bell or buzzer attached to the page, for each time someone posts; like Phavlov’s dog, (s)he jumps in to paste and SPAM, again.
        So predictable. So boring!

      4. You mean something like the “Megaphone Desktop Tool”? This young spammer-girl probably uses “Google Alerts”. While she’s online searching for pics of Justin Beiber’s pooched out lips, she keeps her Google account open and gets alerted to every update here.

And tex2, you are just TOO cute! Please come back and entertain me… like a dancing monkey should.

      5. Am glad i had put the coffee cup down before I read that.
Here’s my prayer to the gods of the interwebs:
May tex2 lose access to, “CTRL”, and “V” buttons, at once!

Yes, those of us with libertarian values also comprehend the aspect of same to know, one does NOT pollute a neighbor’s yard while doing his or her “thang”. By same virtue, one does not pollute another’s blog, by insane spamming usage of, “CTRL, V”. It is plain old “common” sense!

      6. These aren’t opinions, they are FACTS and LOGIC. Both of which you have demonstrated you can’t refute.

Why Ron Paul would NOT be a good president:
        1. He is old, mousey, whiny, grumpy, skinny, etc. Do not underestimate the importance of these factors, as a very large number of voters are not familiar with the issues, and vote for vanity. Subject: Ron Paul Caucus Influence

I am concerned Ron Paul’s folks are becoming extremely active in various state caucuses and are exerting a much higher influence than the people of the respective state favor with respect to Ron Paul.

Can you tell me what controls are in place to prevent this problem in Texas? Thanks.

        Regards,
        [Tex]
        123-456-7890

P.S., here’s a link to a person who claims they will be their precinct chair, and there are other claims on the same blog the Ron Paul folks will be “in hiding” and faking support for another candidate until the time comes to vote, when they will change to Ron Paul, thus making a mockery out of the process: https://dougwead.wordpress.com/2012/04/01/romney-gets-nasty-in-nevada-but-ron-paul-prevails/ see the April 4, 2012 at 4:12 pm entry. Thanks again.

      8. Why would we refute opinions and pretzel logic? Read up on the issues on Ron Paul’s official site, missy. Your petulant frenzies aren’t helping your case. Do you really believe what you thought you knew? When will you begin to realize you’re actually helping us, whether you know it or not. LOL

      9. Did you see what this little idiot says she sent in to the Texas GOP Chair? How dare it misrepresent facts, to the TX GOP, in that way?
I think, however, anyone checking these facts will see that the only person falsifying truth would be this “tex”2. Nobody has said he or she will be pretending to support someone else. Nobody has said he or she will not be working for HONESTY and TRUTH and to fight the voter-suppression (FOR ALL) in the Republican Primary. From what I have read, from any REAL person here, we’ve said we are all proud Ron Paul supporters, and are happy to shout it out, anywhere. Besides, Ron Paul IS a Texan- why would the GOP in Texas not wish him to be OUR nominee?
So where does this little child get off making such inane and false accusations? I will be speaking with my county’s GOP Chairs, to direct them to these lies and obfuscations of FACT.
How dare some little spamming CHILD attempt to mess with Texas GOP Caucus/Primary, and be so brazen about it, in the process? I suppose anyone can say anything, yet in the process, said person is generally found out for the lies.
In fact, this sort of lie my have some very real charges attached to it; I certainly hope so. I’ll go and email the GOP folk I have come to know, right now. This sort of tripe should never be allowed to stand unchallenged!

      10. You know, Michael, since I do have a blog, I get notes (up in rt hand corner of the page, next to my pic) that show me if I have new responses anywhere in wordpress.
Imagine my “surprise” (quelle suprise~~) to see that all of the NINE “new posts” to me were from this little idiot (fake) Tex. There must be some recourse, and if I can find a way, I will be getting rid of the lunatic re-posted SPAM. Honestly,, why would one bother to “respond”, yet not say anything new, or post the same old garbage for 48 hours? SHE finds herself humorous, I am sure; I, on the other hand, do not. I’m not angry with her, I am simply bored of this crap.

Obviously, Doug is too busy (with things like?? — the CAMPAIGN) and does not know this is continually happening?
Anyway, Michael, you are very welcome to post on my blog. Anyone is welcome to post their opinion, save one; little Junior-Miss Texas will not be posting there. I do have to draw the line when it comes to children who cut and paste trash, not relative to the original post and not actually responding to other posters, yet goes on as IF it were the case.
It’s annoying, as all children will be, at some point.

      11. I wouldn’t worry about what tex2 sends to anyone, she comes off as a tad unstable no matter what she says. A regular Blanche Dubois for the 21st century. LMAO!

      12. Who can take tex2 seriously? For starters, he is siding against “liberty”, so imediately one can see that there is a deficiency.
As somebody that doesnt support the obvious candidate, you have to wonder what makes a person argue for the side of “more of the same”. It could just be that tex2 isnt intelligent enough to get it, or maybe he is just another “sheep”. I can tell you this; if tex2 is a “paid troll” , he is failing. Is there a such thing?(paid troll)? Either way, less savvy tex2 loses every time in a battle of wits against the obviously more intelligent RP crowd. LOL

      13. Who can take tex3 seriously? For starters, he is siding against “logic”, so imediately one can see that there is a deficiency.
As somebody that doesn’t support the obvious candidate to avoid, you have to wonder what makes a person argue for the side of “more of the incompetent”. It could just be that tex3 isn’t intelligent enough to get it, or maybe he is just another “Paulite”. I can tell you this; if tex3 is an “unpaid troll,” he is worth every penny. Is there a such thing?(unpaid troll)? Either way, less savvy tex3 loses every time in a battle of wits against the obviously more intelligent tex2 “crowd.” LOL

  21. you are getting redundant….LOL

So im guessing you support “perpetual” war.
Are you scared of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? (Iran)

    1. Hi, Tex3. I’ve been intentionally ignoring the tool’s ridiculousness. I think it’s left about 3 dozen copy-and-paste “comments” here, today alone. Does it ever bore itself? I only wonder as it does bore me.
Say, I do believe I was correct in my assessment that it’s merely a silly child…….. it was here, as soon as school let out, but not before. I wonder when that tool’s bedtime is? Hopefully, it’s past?
Going to ignore it some more.
Keep up the good work. I’ve enjoyed your “LOL”, repeatedly. So appropriate!

      1. You don’t have a clue how to answer my issues, either. LOL

But in the event your IQ temporarily and miraculously approaches double digits, I’ll repeat the issues below, LOL:

Why Ron Paul would NOT be a good president:

      2. tex2 must not be reading the responses, as i have already discredited this horrible attempt at “reasoning”. LOL

      3. Thank you, Tex3 (THREE).
I think it enjoys hiding out behind a no-name, no-picture screen. I’d bet, in person, said child would clam up.
Besides, the words (the vomitous letters) seem to always be same thing– and after once, has become redundant and, of course, BORING. What a silly– none to bright- child.

      4. You did NOTHING to discredit my points! LOL

I bet, in person, I would make you cry like a baby. LOL

You’ve now had several chances to respond, and FAILED every single time. LOL

  22. I think YOU (or is it me, since we may be the same person? LOL) are the redundant one, asking why I don’t like Ron Paul, then refusing to respond in any meaningful manner. LOL

I don’t like war at all, but I like dying even less.

No, I’m not scared of him or any other thug. However, if you think he would hesitate to put a nuclear weapon in the hands of terrorists or use it to hold his part of the world hostage, you’re sadly, naively, and stupidly mistaken.

By the way, why are YOU scared of answering my issues with RP? I’ve also noticed all of your “buddies” are nowhere to be found on this blog. I’ll repeat my issues below for your convenience, LOL:

      1. WRONG on both of your stupid guesses. Why don’t you stop trying to take this discussion off-topic, and answer the issues you asked me to post? I copied them below for your convenience, LOL:

Feel free to respond Paulites, I even numbered the items for you! LOL

      2. I’d say your second guess is more likely- this is a silly child whose mama does not know what he’s getting up to online. Obviously, (s)he does not comprehend or has never heard the “big words” (s)he has chosen to copy and paste.
And, this is why i said, (s)he bores me, I don’t read anything posted by this silly child, and nobody else should wast his or her time, either.
I do wish Doug Wead would check in and remove all of the printed-vomit from the site, though. Would be easier to find the real comments!

      3. Since you picked RP it doesn’t surprise me you’re wrong about me as well. LOL

Why do you keep asking Doug to remove my questions/issues, when YOU are the ones who kept asking me for them, and RP is supposedly a big free speech kind of guy? LOL

      4. Free speech? You’re in someone else’s house, all your rights go out the window. If Wead wants to remove your “Ant-Ron Paul MSM Talking Points” spam, I fully support him. All of your “issues” are mainly opinions, half-truths, outright lies, and trollisms. Go read the Constitution and learn something about how your government works. Then come back and see us. I bet you’re every bit the Constitutional Scholar that Obama is, meaning, you just don’t get it. Don’t you have better things to do with your time than this, Princess?

    1. tex2 said
I think YOU (or is it me, since we may be the same person? LOL) are the redundant one, asking why I don’t like Ron Paul, then refusing to respond in any meaningful manner. LOL ————————————————————————–
The only thing i asked you is who do you support, and you couldnt answer that, as a matter of fact, you havent even had a point. You complain that nobody will answer your questions, but they are so stupid that i think people just ignore them. LOL

      1. I answered, anyone except Ron Paul, although I would vote for him against Barry. Here’s the reasons I don’t like Ron Paul:

23. Results for U.S. Republican Presidential Primaries
State Gingrich Paul Romney Santorum reporting
    04/03 DC 10.7% 12.0% 70.2% – 100%
    04/03 MD 10.9% 9.5% 9.1% 28.9% 100%
    04/03 WI 6.1% 11.7% 42.5% 37.6% 98%

Way to go Ron, you beat Newt in 2 out of 3 races last night, you’re DEFINITELY on your way to the presidency, except for the teeny tiny “detail” that you barely broke doubt digits in the 2 “wins,” probably thanks to some mischievous democrat voters and a good pot smoking and “freedom at all costs” turnout. LOL

      1. Michael; I think I love you, back!

This kid had better look back to watch the hornet’s nest (s)he’s just kicked., as it will come up behind him and he shall be stung.

I did send messages to all contacts I have within the GOP, in Texas, because I do care if this kid thinks she will get away with misrepresentations and slander. Texans are proud and most I know (or certainly all I will associate myself with) are willing to stand up for all person’s rights.. regardless.
This child should never have gone there.

      2. You really are clueless, aren’t you? LOL

        Hornet’s nest? LOL

        Misrepresentation? LOL

        Slander? LOL

        LOL LOL LOL

    1. tex2’s comment leaves out the numerous delegates, and when you consider the amount of precinct chairs that are now held by Paul supporters, i would say that the delegate strategy is working.Cant wait until August when the actual delegate numbers come out. I wonder how MSM will deal with that.

      LOL

      1. This fool, Johnson, has no desire to check out facts. That is not his mission. From what i have read (which is not a lot) of his inane commentary, the mission is to “expose” Doug Wead as less than decent, as well as to bother ALL of us.
Calling us drug-abusers, potheads, prostitutes, etc…, really goes beyond the pale and I honestly don’t see why Doug has not finally and completely BANNED the troll.
I will not feed it, though, as much as he thinks I have. I responded, once, when he did not include the name-calling and the typical (maniacal) LOL’s.. and the response to MY reply was rife with idiocy and disgusting diatribe.

This is why I hardly post on Doug’s blog, anymore. It’s not worth the usual lunatic troll’s semi-replies.

  24. BAN *tex2* from this site IMMEDIATELY — Never allow IT to post here again! ALSO, DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY OF ITS TROLLING !

Dear, Doug — this is your HOME page, and all of us posting here are your guests. Don’t know about your tolerance level, but mine ends when an unwelcome guest tries to set my home on fire, in order to chase out all the welcomed people I’ve invited!

No normal exchange can be held here — since the #2 quickly fills in all REPLY slots….so no-one else can respond sequentially to what was stated before. This is its main goal (secondary is its spittings of hatred to all that’s good)!

The #2′s strategy is simply hitting the REPLY button (posting some vitriol), then another REPLY button — thus VIRTUALLY HIJACKING any thread from allowing others to directly respond to the original post.

PUT a STOP to IT — send Doug the needed message/program to BAN/BLOCK this Shill from his blog!

    1. What is (somewhat) confusing is that someone else, who is a decent person and showed a LOT of patience with Mr Johnson (tex2), was banned. I don’t know if it was based on tex2 whining that same person gave him a what-for, or if Doug simply banned him in error (when he SHOULD have stopped Johnson from posting and irritating, trolling, everyone on this blogsite).. but something went wrong.

Doug- I completely AGREE; would you please just put us all out of our misery, and ban tex2 from this site?
It seems the dolt’s mission is to irritate us (and YOU, Doug) to the extent that we won’t be back, and possibly– so you will not post, at all. Either way, this childish troll is making a thread of discussion impossible and irritating. So, I completely agree with Surfisher; please just BAR/BAN/ STOP tex2 from posting here any longer.

This kid, tex2, is not interested in posting any rational thought. He’s here to stop all discussion. We have all been inundated with his ridiculous trolling garbage, and i don’t see why he’s still around, especially when others are not.
Thanks. I mean; yes, it’s your site and your decision, but I honestly don’t see the point of allowing a troll to continue, as this Johnson guy has done, for DAYS ON END- with no end in sight!
      @

      1. Vote YES to BAN the “tex2″ creature — your votes will be counted, and submitted to Doug!

Our Future, as a Free and Prosperous Nation is too precious to ALLOW any Troll, such as the #2 — by its hijacking of all threads— to confiscate this Forum away from us (where Real Americans are trying to converse on what’s best for the US)!

        Voting starts now:

        1) Surfisher — Yes

  25. Dear Doug Wead,

How can we have confidence that you are capable of managing Ron Paul’s campaign, when you are unable to manage your own blog?

On any other Forum the destructive manipulations of “tex2″ would have been removed by a moderator, and the creature banned (regardless how many IP’s it uses, there are programs that can track and block them).

On this, and even OTHER forums, I’ve read people saying that while they read your blog, they won’t post on it — since they don’t want to be verbally abused by the #2. Their take is: Why bother posting or replying here — the #2 is going to hijack the thread by peppering it with insults and non-sensical multi-replies….

In the last 30 days, IT has posted more times than the combined total of all other posters (also, ITS total word count exceeds that of the rest)!

Many good people are leaving your forum because of the above. Unless you take care of it, why should we stay?

Are you paying attention to the people voting to BAN this waste-of-protoplasm?!

So far the vote to BAN it from your site is:
    1) Surfisher
    2) Sharon Kuhn
    3) annebeck58
    4) christopher Deligate of Missouri
    5) donjusko

    7) sophiah8
    8) rmcnnlly
    9) BanTex2Al
    10) Wendy Jones
    11) Evan Godolphin

    Awaiting your reply.

    Sincerely, Surfisher

    1. Crucify him…..crucify him….. LOL

The Passion of the Christ is a good movie, but I don’t know if I want to watch it THAT many times in a row, so let’s take a break from this repetitious “program” and allow other readers to comment on the below serious and real issues that result in baggage for Ron Paul. 3. To all Americans:

    1. Then watch Mitt the Joke:
An EMPTY stadium with about a hundred sycophants only… mostly yawning.

Then see the THOUSANDS of REAL AMERICANS and their genuineness on Ron Paul’s rallies!

But the main media never shows this REALITY — so, are we to stand by and allow them to steal this Election away from us — when clearly the TRUE Americans have spoken?!

      Spread this video!(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMVY5u9RuW8)

    3. Rmoney — “Staff, get me some internet trolls to spew forth hatred towards my opponents.”

      So they run this ad:

“Looking for 300+lb pimply failures that live in mum’s basement.
Must be hateful of all that’s good (since you hate yourself most because of the waste of protoplasm you’ve become); unable to crawl away from the computer, so mum gives you monthly sponge baths (also, occasionally removes the bedpan).
Why post your venomous spittings for free, when we’ll pay you handsomely to be our Shill — a fistful of food stamps and a bottle of hooch each week!”

That’s how the #2 got this “lucrative” job — why troll for free, when it can shill for so much more….

      (hope I didn’t misspell ANYTHING important….)

  29. “Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson could pull as much as 6% of the vote in a hypothetical three-way match-up with Mitt Romney and President Obama. Johnson began the 2012 race running for the Republican nomination but has wound up carrying the libertarian banner and could gain ballot access in several states.”

If the above transpires, it is a certainty that Mitt will not defeat BO (with his flip-flopping, he couldn’t defeat him anyway, now this would assure it).

So he needs to withdraw now in favor of Ron Paul!
    ————————————————————————-

Ron Paul WILL become President in 2012 — IF, Romney becomes a Patriot, and forgoes his ego, for the Good of the People!

Mitt Romney could become one of the greatest Statesmen in US History! He’d be the Savior of our Nation — the one that generations to come would tell their children: “Look at this statue, this is Mitt Romney, he saved America”!

Or, he can reduce himself to just a tiny footnote…what is amazing is that his fate rests in his own hands (a very rare occurrence throughout the history of the world)!

All Romney has to do, is to take advantage of this rarest of historical moments, and make a SINGLE DECISION!!!

Withdraw his candidacy IN FAVOR of Ron Paul, with the following grandiose and heart-wrenching patriotic speech (to save his political skin):

“I, Mitt Romney, will sacrifice my political goals for the Good of the People. Now I understand that only Ron Paul that can save our Nation. I agree with all he stands for, therefore, I have deemed that our Nation’s salvation can only be accomplished when Ron Paul is elected as President of the United States of America. Without regret, but with joy, I do the most honorable and patriotic deed I can — I withdraw myself from this election, and give my full support to Ron Paul!”

One honest person is needed to bring these logical conclusions to Romney’s PERSONAL ATTENTION (not the myopic sycophants surrounding him and stroking his ego by chanting wishful thinking as ‘fact’: “You gonna win Boss, you gonna win Boss….).

Regardless how egotistical, arrogant and narcissistic Romney may be, some semblance of reasoning of what’s best for him, should still remain in his skull. The instinct for self preservation dictates that even the smallest of minds will chose the path that leads to safety, not the one leading to disaster.

An honest realist needs to talk to Romney one-on-one — and explain the following to him, so Mitt can comprehend it:

    1) If you don’t win the nomination, than your political career is over (you’ll become just a tiny footnote in US History as a failure).

    2) If you win the nomination, and don’t defeat Obama — which is the most probable outcome (you’ll become just a tiny footnote in US History as an even LARGER failure).

Therefore, Dear Mitt, whichever gamble you take from the above, may lead to total disaster for your political career (and probably will)!

However, here is an action you can take, Dear Mitt, that guarantees you’ll become immortalized in the annals of US History — becoming the 21st Century Savior of America (surely this carrot of success will entice Romney’s egotism to go for it — over the probable political beatings he’d receive otherwise)!

All one needs to do, to assure Mitt’s Historical Greatness of Sacrifice for the Good of the Nation, is to present the above to Romney’s eyes alone! I urge all able to do so, to place this document in front of him!

Send this to Mitt Romney — as an Open Letter, e-mails, etc. — the more you send, the greater the chance he’ll get to read it!

  30. *Mitt Romney, American Parasite*

(Mitt Grosny — Romney The Terrible (my prefered title))

    http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article31153.htm

It explains how Bain Capital worked. They would buy SUCCESSFUL companies, with little down, borrowed huge amounts, saddling them with crushing debt, refused to continue equipment purchases or maintenance. Then they would pay themselves huge “management” fees.
    —————————————————–

    Some notable excerpts:

“Romney is not a vulture capitalist, as Rick Perry says, since vultures eat dead carcasses,” notes Josh Kosman, who has written about the private equity business for 15 years. He’s “more of a parasitic capitalist, since he destroys profitable businesses.” (The host must be healthy enough to be force-fed all that debt, then slowly bled to death…until the parasites drain all the wealth for themselves).

“When Bain was about to buy a company, its partners would hold a meeting. “He said that about half the time [they] would talk about cutting workers,” Kosman says. “They would never talk about adding workers. He said that job growth was never part of the plan.” That claim was buttressed by the Associated Press, which studied 45 companies bought by Bain during Romney’s first decade. It found that 4,000 workers lost their jobs. The real figure is likely thousands higher, since the analysis didn’t account for bankruptcies and factory and store closings.

“The Armco plant closing involved more than the torching of 750 jobs, Morrow says. Contractors and suppliers collapsed. Workers’ children and widows lost health care and pension benefits. And while Bain received millions in tax breaks—paid for by the very people left holding the bag—Romney walked away millions richer.”

    1. I watched the movie, “When Mitt Romney Came to Town”. ALL should watch it before considering a vote for that destroyer of AMERICAN Business as potus. Honestly, when you know how his money was made, off of the backs of Americans and pain he caused many others, you or anyone would have to see Mittems is the worst possible choice, ever, to RUN anything.
He did try to buy my business, along with others in the same field, years back. I refused, but some did take the paltry sum offered, which was mainly for equipment, and client-lists and even intellectual property were deemed worthless. Mittens and Co. took the equipment and either sold to 3-rd world countries, or had a hand in setting-up shoppe in these countries, where they have gone up against other American businesses, with their cheap labor, and won. When you pay someone 24 cents a day, rather than 10 bucks an hour, it’s easy to knock out the average AMERICAN small business owner– esp those who thought they were going into these deals on equal footing. No such thing where RomNOT is concerned. What a disgusting PIG, imo,

      1. annebeck58 — please, repost this at the end of the last blog, so all can read it NOW!

        You are the best!

Ron Paul MUST stay on course — keep up the uphill battle to win as many delegates as possible (that the GOP does not prevent him to do, by their obvious chicanery)!

Ron Paul needs to take Rmoney to Tampa. Then, the PERFIDY of the GOP will be Nationally telecast (hundreds of thousands of Real Americans supporting the only Patriot (RP), vs a few hundred mousey sycophants for Mitt Grosny, will be hard to dismiss)!
        —————————————————————————

The American People have long known that the Democrat Party cheats and lies — so they are used to their chicanery (the reason, many call them Democrooks).
It is high time that they NOW see the GOP is no different — the Republicons fraud, cheating and strong-arming to “elect” Mitt Grosny, may finally have a televised exposure!
        ——————————————————————————–

After the Tampa Convention — which will probably be the most memorable of spectacles this last 50 years — Ron Paul should take the best path that assures he’ll be part of the Presidential debates vs BO.

Ron Paul MUST be part of the Presidential debates — so, people can judge the difference between a real Human and plastic sub-humans!
        —————————————————————————————

It is not unprecedented for a candidate to be the standard bearer for more than one party (I think in 1896, William Jennings Bryan was the nominee of the Democrats, the Populist Party, and the Silver Republicans; and I believe in 1872, Horace Greeley was nominated by the Democrats and also by the Liberal-Republican Party).

Doug Wead — hope you have similar strategy in mind!

      2. Confused.. repost what? I don’t like posting my responses, again; don’t want to possibly be seen as spammer– like yewww know whewwww.
        (Text_EWWWWW)
What a pita. It’s here, again, trying to get my attention. Yeah, like THAT will happen? I think NOT.

      3. Hey, ALL- I have new video-post up, today– going along with Paul WINNING delegates, while GOP tries ridiculously to NOT allow HIS DELEGATES (duely elected) to RUN local meetings!

        http://annebeck58.wordpress.com/2012/04/26/ron-paul-wins-washington-iowa-minnesota-14/
Let me know what you think, okay? Oh, and please pass it on… Something tells me there is MORE malfeasance coming out from the Mittens campaign (like WHO paid for the insurance for GOP caucus=meeting? If Mitt, well; needs to be INVESTIGATED, as generally is paid-for by party MEMBERS, which would include Ron Paul supporters).
ANYONE who is voting for and working as delegate for Paul HAS signed the GOP OATH OF AFFILIATION, which means they has as much a right to be there.

Anyway, read the post, watch the (great) video by Ben Swann, and share it. Thank you!

    1. Exactly!
Yesterday, I was talking with my neighbor– about 25 years-old, a Hispanic guy.. I asked him if he’d like to go to the Ron Paul rally (tonight) in Austin with me. He said, “I thought he had dropped out?”
I said, I think you watch too much teevee-newzzz, meant to lull you to sleep. Then he said, well, he’s a Democrat so HAD to vote for Obama. WHAT? I asked him, what about NDAA? He did not know what that was! Then, when I explained it to him, he said that Obama didn’t really WANT to sign it (really? over the holiday when everyone was celebrating and sleeping and not paying attention?).. He said something about how Republicans are running Obama’s White-house. Again? “TOO MUCH TEEVEE”/ So I asked him to just please watch a couple of Ron Paul videos, and explained to him that,
1, Our White-house (AND Congress) are run by AIPAC/ or Israel (he acted like I was racist for saying so!), and,
2, Just being Dem, in Texas especially, does NOT mean he has to vote for Obama. Even if he wanted to vote in Rep primary, he could, as it’s an OPEN STATE.
He finallly said, “Well I don’t know if I need to register to vote since I moved”. So, I told him he was too late to register, now, and he may as well not.
One Obama-idjit down, how many more to go? Could you even imagine planning on voting (if his registration had been currrent) and knowing so LITTLE of what’s happening in this country? It’s CRAZY, and STUPID. Sad case. And, i thought “the kids” were a LOT more with-it than this!
No wonder we’re having a hard time filling precinct-or-election judge seats. People are ignoring all of it. Amazing.

      1. Just imagine how many people will be looking at my #1 issue and not considering voting for RIP:

Why Ron Paul could not be elected and/or would NOT be a good president:

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

  32. SO, this is going to SHOCK a few.
I was outside the other day (again working on my==stupid–car), and the neighbors were also ALL out there. This young guy said, “So, Ron Paul had a HUGE crowd last week at UT”. He was actually saying this in a POSITIVE manner. He told me he HAD watched the videos I suggested and wished he could still register to vote, as he would vote for Ron Paul. So, hey– I actually helped get him EDUCATED (too bad it was actually the last day to register in Texas for the primary!).
This is the thing; once people see and hear Ron Paul, they GET IT. When they get it, they do not go back to RomNOT or Obama (as a freind calls “them”, Obamney). The LIBERTY wagon is picking up more and more supporters (and voters) DAILY. For some, it is too late, but then again; perhaps not? This neighbor of mine comes from a pretty large family of Democrats. He will, now, go and talk with those family members who ARE registered to vote, and will try to convince them to vote right by voting PAUL. In my opinion, liberty IS infectious.. and we have to keep working at making it spread everywhere.
I think we are now seeing the fruits of our labors, as Paul is doing great, in many unexpected places (like Louisiana– how great and AMAZING is that?). Each time I hear of delegates convening, I hear more great information regarding Paul. And, that’s only good for ALL of us! *All of USA!!
