Family Feud: The Obama girls versus the Romney boys

Family Feud: The Obama girls versus the Romney boys

I once asked George W. Bush which is worse, to run for president or to have your father run for president?  He didn’t hesitate.  “It’s a lot harder having your dad run for president.”  It makes sense.  When people say things about your mother or father it can hurt.  Which brings us to this election cycle and the latest political family feud, the Obama girls versus the Romney boys.  Who is likely to win that contest?  And how do wives and siblings factor into the equation?

First keep in mind that the odds are 8-5 in favor of the president with the youngest children.  It is a wholly useless statistic because there are too many other variables.  But nevertheless, don’t count out the Obama girls just because they are younger.  Being cute and sassy at the right time can remind voters that the president and first lady are a dad and mom “just like us.”  It is sometimes a plea for sympathy.  And sometimes designed to help foster a personality cult.  “If you don’t like my policies, here, maybe you will like me as a person and my wife and kids.”

First Lady Jackie Kennedy steadfastly refused to let her children be used for political purposes and vetoed publicity photos.  But once, while away on a trip to Europe, her husband, the president, called for the children.  He was working late in the Oval Office and so they were brought in wearing pajamas and bathrobes.  “Get the photographer in here,” the president laughed.  And so we have these wonderful pictures of the Kennedy kids romping around the president’s desk.  Jackie Kennedy was a great mom.  JFK was a great politician.

Meanwhile, the Romney boys, because of their ages, will be more than “cute.”  They will be what Malia and Sasha Obama cannot be, super surrogates and fund raising machines.  I’ve seen this process up close, traveling with George W. Bush, the candidate’s son during the 1988 election.  The closer we got to November, the more famous George W. became and the larger the crowds.

If you are donating $1,000 to the campaign would you rather have your picture taken the local governor or Chelsea Clinton?  You get the idea.   Imagine on any given day of the campaign, a Romney son can be in five different swing states, raising money and giving interviews to local radio and television.

This is not new. Presidential candidates have long used their children as surrogates. Both the Kerry and Bush children were active in the 2004 campaigns.  Lyndon Johnson showcased his daughter’s weddings on national television before audiences of 50 million people.  Julie and Tricia Nixon became ornaments on their parents’ arms as they campaigned for the presidency in 1968.  And the Kennedy clan became famous, brothers, sisters, in-laws and children.

If elected, Mitt Romney will be the first president to have a family of five sons.  Lincoln and Van Buren each had four and modern presidents FDR and George H. W. Bush had four sons but both also had one daughter.  Thomas Jefferson had five daughters.

Sometimes a member of the family can be a liability.  Ask Bill Clinton, whose brother Roger went to jail.  Or Billy Carter, whose brother Billy took money as a lobbyist for Muammar Gaddafi and the Libyans or Lyndon Johnson, whose brother, Sam Houston Johnson, was an alcoholic and a philanderer.

And not all presidents sons and daughters have been so helpful.  One snuck prostitutes into his White House office.  One of the Ford children smoked pot in the family quarters of the White House.  If it had become public, well, Jimmy Carter would have won by an even bigger margin.  FDR had five children who had 19 marriages between them and the scandals behind each one were breathtaking.  Ronald Reagan, a Republican who ran on a traditional values platform, had a daughter who posed for playboy and a son, Ron, Jr., who later endorsed a candidate for the opposite political party.

Even that was not new.

A famous Democrat president, had a son who publicly endorsed a Republican candidate.  The uproar was tremendous.  Democrat leaders said you are besmirching the legacy of your father.  The Democrat president?  FDR.  The Republican candidate?

Ronald Reagan.

Oh, how life and history comes full cycle.

So when the Obama babies and the Romney sons square off for battle this fall, keep in mind that what we say about their daddies hurts them far more and far longer than it will ever hurt the candidates themselves.

It ain’t easy running for president.  But it is even harder when your dad or your husband or your brother does.

  1. Doug…. ugh! shame this article. The Paul people could careless about this topic. The timing is off! Right now we have a convention to go to!!!!

    • Doug Wead says:

      Brent,

I know, I agree but I have to pay the bills like you and everybody else. And I have to hold my niche as a presidential historian (which is my work and income) or else forfeit that role to someone else, probably a tool of the oligarchs. Right now, much of what we are doing in the campaign cannot be discussed openly. So while I am still working as hard as I can behind the scenes, and will still post regularly on the Liberty movement, I had to get this in for the feeds who syndicate my column.

      • Nicky Nelson says:

Hi Doug! Hearing from the people and delegates yesterday who are dealing with The RNC AND people from Paul’s camp who I will not name, was truly distressing. I have listened to and processed hundreds of Affidavits regarding the election fraud, but this is the cherry on the crime convention’s cake. They are going state to state and attempting to make deals. Basically, we will remove the objections to the duly elected delegates if you give us X amount of Ron Paul’s delegates, otherwise NONE of your delegates will be seated, we will appoint our own! Seating appointed delegates is such a blatant violation of anything right, surely ALL of the state’s delegates will be disqualified, so in essence, they are preventing duly elected representatives from representing their state! Give us this, or we will make sure your duly elected representatives will not be representing you! Blackmail: “In common usage, blackmail is a crime involving unjustified threats to make a gain or cause loss to another unless a demand is met.” Maine told them to pound sand, (WE LOVE YOU MAINE and Pat E.) but it looks like others in LA and MA and potentially OR are making deals. What is the world coming to? WE LITERALLY CANNOT VOTE THESE CRIMINALS OUT AND THAT IS A COLD HARD FACT! Unless by some miracle we can pull it off at the convention. It’s not over til it’s over! I sure hope you guys have a rabbit you will be pulling out of your hat, but I am not holding my breath for anything spectacular out of the Paul camp. Dr. Paul is brilliant, I thought for sure he could pull it off. I hope so. We are working on getting information packets to all of the delegates prior to the convention, so, still working regardless of what appears to be going on around us. VOTE RON PAUL – PERIOD!

      • annebeck58 says:

        Here’s the thing, Nicky-
It does STILL maintain a PLURALITY in at least five states, when the delegations sign-off on the RNC’s affidavits… Unless there’s something I don’t know about any, “new rules”.
I mean, if the RNC is following its own rules, and those are (essentially) Robert’s Rules, they have to accept PLURALITY in at least FIVE states as requisite to nominate Paul, from the DAIS, not the floor.
I saw it as good, as long as RNC has not toyed with this specific rule. But, Nevada BLEW my mind with their strength, and I see no reason for MAINE (Paul WON MAINE, out and out, completely) to give-in or give-up, ever. I don’t even know that Maine has a secondary-string set to replace the REAL Delegation, but should put nothing past RNC’s Priebus and, particularly, Charlie Webster (who will have to answer to Governor LePage, should he take a hand in this stuff.)
Maine delegation needs to be seated, AS IS.

      • Rich Grise says:

Why not go for the Miracle? I think God wants Dr. Paul to be president:
        http://www.godchannel.com

      • annebeck58 says:

        Rich;
Each and every preacher, priest, rabbi, NEEDS to shout it from the front of the “house”, this weekend,
        “GOD WANTS RON PAUL”

Perhaps this will create the miracle?

As I say often, people can pray all they like, but unless they follow up, in deed, nothing is going to happen.

      • Nicky Nelson says:

And THANK YOU DOUG FOR YOUR CANDID RESPONSE! XOXO

      • Jim says:

Doug aren’t you the least bit concerned what sharing the stage with neo-confederate ‘revisionists’ Lew Rockwell, Walter Block and Butler Shaffer on Sunday will do to your reputation?

        http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelligence-report/browse-all-issues/2000/summer/the-neo-confederates?page=0,1

      • Surfisher says:

Doug — OK, but you still allow Human-HATER JIM (aka ‘tex2′ that you already banned) to post its vile hatred to all that’s good here (and desire Ron Paul’s death, on top)…?!?

Reassure us that you do not side with such pond-scum, but will take control of your own property — by BANNING it from ever posting here, again!

      • Rich Grise says:

Say, annebeck58, is there any kind of progress report on the RICO charges?

      • annebeck58 says:

It’s been on the back-burner, though http://www.electionFraudRemedy.com is still taking fraud-statements, from plaintiffs, complainants, as well as witnesses. Anyone who knows of any fraud, from caucuses (Iowa) to primaries (Texas), please do sign in and sign-on.
The more facts we have to back up our claims, the better — not that five-hundred complainants is not enough, but more is always best, legally-speaking.

I know i will not back down and am sure any who’ve been defrauded and/or assaulted, and had their votes taken from them, are happy to sign onto the suit(s).

    • Nicky Nelson says:

Hi Anne! We tried to verify the plurality for months and were unable to do so, but I really don’t know where we stand on that. I heard yesterday in order to nominate a candidate from the floor they changed the rule and now have to submit something in writing an hour before, and I am not sure if it requires their approval to the written “request”, I am waiting on a call back from one of the Parliamentarians. I was told they would be appointing delegates for Maine, not sure if and how that will pan out. As for Charlie Cheater, we have a ton of evidence, and can even verify he was paid by the Romney camp, however, when I went on to the FBI’s website and researched election fraud and their ability to investigate, passing out fake literature was not considered election fraud in their eyes…. So, we will have to see if anything can be done. As you know there will be many lawsuits/RICO suits after the nomination.

      • annebeck58 says:

        Yes, Nicky;
I am a complainant in one RICO suit, against Romney. I am quite aware of the voter-fraud as I saw it for myself. And, prior to working this (s)election, I really did not believe the prior stories of vote-flipping or vote-plucking or voter-disenfranchisement. Now, I believe it, whole-heartedly.

And, here is a chart of Delegates v. Voters– you can see that for every 166 votes, Paul gained ONE delegate. Romney, for each ZERO vote, gained ONE delegate.
Please do tell me how this happens (hint, one must have at least ONE vote to have ONE delegate- unless one is, “mittens”)

        http://www.libertyusapac.org/wordpresspac/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Corrected_and_Updated_IL_Election_2012_8-23-2012.xls

You should be able to open this graph/chart in any word-style program. It is an XLS doc, but will also open as PDF, if need be.

      • annebeck58 says:

Oh, and YES; I have seen the recorded information (black and white, payouts) regarding, “Charlie Cheater” (and even Carlos-Cheater, in LV, I believe it was). I find it disgusting that anyone would stoop to this level.
Ginger (morepuppies in YT) has a few GREAT video-clips of Charlie-Cheater (not to be confused with Charlie Webster, who also cheats, as we KNOW.)

      • Surfisher says:

Nicky Nelson — KEY words by Doug (“Right now, much of what we are doing in the campaign cannot be discussed openly.”)

Remember I said that a Big Surprise is awaiting the Tampa Convention….

        Just stayed tuned!

      • Nicky Nelson says:

        Thanks Surfisher! ;)

  2. Nicky Nelson says:

What about Ron Paul running for President? Is he going to name a running mate? How are you organizing the delegates to nominate Dr. Paul from the floor at the convention in a weeks time? What about the case in the federal court where we are awaiting a decision and order from the judge to unbound the delegates so we can get Dr. Paul in?

    • annebeck58 says:

I understood it was taboo to name a running-mate, prior to the convention. Since Romney believe with all he is, that he is the guy, he’s chosen a mate.
Or, the RNC chose his mate for him.
I expect, if Ron Paul can pull off this win– and I hope with all I am that he does, we’ll hear about his choice soon enough.

      • Nicky Nelson says:

Hi Anne! If Ron Paul was to choose a running mate prior to the convention in Tampa, it would help people realize he is still in the race if nothing else! And by some miracle might get some exposure from the lame stream media. It was/is important and I know Dr. Paul got the message from the freedom movement that we were waiting.

      • annebeck58 says:

Sure, I agree. I’d love to know his pick, anyway.
Hey, Doug Wead; any ideas? HInts? Or, have you given up, too? (not meant to be a slur, just wondering what’s up.)
        thanks.

      • Rich Grise says:

Heh – I wonder if Dr Ron could be persuaded to invite Gary Johnson to be his running mate? ‘-)

    • annebeck58 says:

But, you know; the more i think about this, the more I believe it could be a great play! Perhaps the Paul camp needs to learn a bit more about the game of politics?
Doug; it would be a good counter-strategy, to name a running-mate, NOW, before the Convention (NOT a coronation, for sure.) Thanks, Nicky!

      • Nicky Nelson says:

You’re welcome and I am very sure Doug knows this is a great strategy, however, since the threats or whatever happened, NOBODY will admit Dr. Paul is still running for President. Love Dr. Paul and am behind him 100%, but it is infuriating to say the least!

      • Nicky Nelson says:

Hi Anne! We need to get this to ALL delegates before the convention! URGENT!!! ALL Delegates to the RNC need to have a copy of this…ASAP Please copy and paste this into your groups, it contains important information on the candidates and the nomination process. I asked David to get it out to all the Tools for Justice people and the Plaintiffs and delegates and WTPN is helping make it viral. Who do we have on the ground inside the convention Anne? We need people organizing to nominate Dr. Paul from the floor. And regardless of what Jesse stated, it does NOT matter if Dr. Paul is seeking nomination from the floor, it is up to the Delegates who represent We the People!!!
        http://freeindependentsun.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/RNC-One-Sheet.pdf

    • annebeck58 says:

OH, and this is to RIch (sorry, can’t find the original link to Rich’s comment, in this part of the thread.)
I would have NO problem with Paul taking-on Johnson as running mate. It actually could be a very beneficial move (for anyone going Indy– and not only the Indy-Reps).
I also like the idea of Dennis Kucinich. That’s a ticket I wanted to see four years ago.
To anyone who’s unaware as to whether or not a nominee can take on someone from, ‘The other side”, yes; one can. In fact, the “loser” (or second-place winner) in presidential race used to BE the Veep. I don’t think that was always the best thing, but i do think it was something that mollified the whole country, more than an complete loss does.

      • Rich Grise says:

Annebeck, I think you might be referring to the post where I speculated about Dr. Paul naming Gary Johnson as his running mate, but my mind works in mysterious ways – to even be available, he’d (GJ) have to drop out as the Libertarian candidate, and all that rigamarole. But I’ve got butterflies in my stomach anticipating the outcome of the convention – I’m fantasizing that Dr. Paul wins by a figurative landslide, and the mass media gets thrown a dilemma – how can you black out the winner?

      • annebeck58 says:

        Yes, this was it, Rich.
Of course, do you think Johnson would drop out of his Libertarian run, were Paul to actually win the nomination? I think, if Paul got it, Johnson would be ready to go.
It’s (sadly but surely) closer to the office than he would get from his current spot in the race.
Were I to vote for an Indy, it would be Buddy Roemer (I think he’s from New Hampshire, or thereabouts). I like Buddy better than I do Johnson. But, I would like Johnson as Paul’s running-mate, and I believe a lot of people (majority) would feel the same.

IF only we can convince the states’ GOP to DUMP MITT, this could actually be great.
What would the SnewZZzz folk do? I think they really would not know what to do or say (save Ben Swann) because that script will NOT be written for them… and I mean ALL of them. Could you imagine these tools having to wing it? Would be a lot bigger than “Dewey WINS!”, for sure!

      • Rich Grise says:

I’m usually pretty good at imagining stuff (like I have hack sci-fi writers in my head), but I’m really having a time trying to imagine the noozdroids’ reaction to a Ron Paul win in Tampa!

Would they actually have the gall to try to lie about it and install Mittens despite the Paul win?

  3. Nicky Nelson says:

Really inappropriate timing for such an article Doug. We are facing the most critical times in the history of our country and Ron Paul is our only hope for restoring the Republic! We have worked around the clock to support Dr. Paul and get him into the White House were he belongs and WHERE HE SAID HE WANTED TO BE. Now nobody in the camp, including Dr. Paul will utter the words that he is in actuality running for President AND that the nomination process takes place in Tampa and what options we have at this point. What is the strategy? Seriously, I am very disappointed.

    • Tony Brown says:

I agree. What happened to the momentum? I don’t want either of the mainstream media’s choices. I am wondering what Ron Paul himself would say…vote for Romney? C’mon….

      • Nicky Nelson says:

NEVER Tony, unless they switched Dr. Paul with a clone, he would NEVER endorse Romney.

      • annebeck58 says:

Each and every time Paul gains any momentum, someone in the campaign or family (Benton, Rand, etc..) says something stupid and then the talking-heads, who are supposed to be on Paul’s side (Kokesh, Tarpley, Greene-wave) go off and blow it up to be bigger than it originally was. These people; all of them, have destroyed anything positive that’s come along, and it frustrates the heck out of me.

Say, Doug Wead; what do you think about all of that mess? I am referring to certain folk in the campaign and close to the campaign, as well as the YT tools who seem to be working against Ron Paul, while saying they are doing the opposite?
Would love to hear your thoughts, Doug Wead.

    • annebeck58 says:

      Just tweeted the one-sheet.
Will pass it on to Texas delegation, too.
And rescinded my precinct-chair “leave”, on the basis that I had been misled by the TRP’s chair.
I am pretty disgusted, today, that this person so easily and completely lied to me. Of course, I should have expected as much.

      • Nicky Nelson says:

Thanks Anne! And I am sure you are. I am sorry for all you have been through. With all that is happening with this crazy election and the destruction of our country on a daily basis, I think if you are paying attention, you are in a constant state of disgust! Although, I must say I think it is important to squeeze out as much happiness as you can. I think they feed off of our fear and when we start feeling hopeless, so fake it until we make it! LOL

      • Rich Grise says:

“Fake it????” Feh! Freedom has been my Worship Word since I woke up, and it will be until I draw my last breath, or after if that afterlife stuff turns out to actually be real. ;-)

  4. Awesome post Doug! How interesting that the Reagan endorsement by FDR’s son comes full circle in the form of Ron Reagan Jr. publicly endorsing John Kerry and Barack Obama!

  5. WHO GIVES A FLYING FRIGGING *$@$&U*@!((#@?!?!?!?!?

Freaking enemies to the Liberty Movement have all been inside the Liberty Movement to begin with. [Just as enemies to the state & Constitution have always been domestic rather than imagines ones in foreign lands.]

Go to hell Jesse Benton, Jack Hunter & Rand Paul for licking Bernanke’s boots!!!

    • annebeck58 says:

      – and, especially, the boots of the terribly disgusting head of the RNC; Reince Priebus.
      This I will never understand.

      • Timing of this post Doug chose to write – dedicating ALL of it to the 2 biggest anti-American Enemies of State Obamney & Rombama – is highly questionable.

As a matter of fact, I’m questioning its distracting intention when we’re supposed to be focused on critical tasks at hand.

Why would Doug dedicate an entire new blog post to fascists [and popularity contest distracting fluff] at such a critical time, when Jesse Benton, Jack Hunter & Rand Paul are busy destroying the movement? Is Doug in cahoots with them as well?

[If not the convention, among other issues he could've chosen to talk about Julian Assange and/or Brandon Raub. Instead he comes up with this?!?!]

      • Jim says:

There is an article on CNN today about how the Paul campaign has struck a deal with the RNC not to disrupt the coronation in exchange Romney integrate key policy issues into the Republican Party platform and SOME delegates get seated. Perhaps this answers the question concerning the timing of Doug’s article?

        http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/08/21/ron-paul-delegates-set-to-strike-deal-with-rnc/comment-page-1/

      • Jim says:

        Then there is also this:
‘”Our desire is to make it all postive,” Doug Wead, a senior Paul adviser, told me Tuesday.’

        http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/Ken-Walshs-Washington/2012/08/21/ron-pauls-last-hurrah

      • annebeck58 says:

Of course it’s been our desire to keep it positive. If you check out who actually caused any havoc in any state’s convention, it’s been the Romney folk. It was never the Paul delegates who were violent. Always the other “side” as they like to see themselves.
But, I really don’t see Doug saying we’d like to keep it positive as acquiescing.

      • Jim says:

Did you read the article annebeck58? Here’s the quote in context:

“Paul and his key advisers want to move beyond the negative feelings and set an uplifting tone.

“Our desire is to make it all postive,” Doug Wead, a senior Paul adviser, told me Tuesday.

Paul and his inner circle realize that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the presumptive nominee, has the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of delegates and a strong hold on the convention apparatus. As various GOP committees meet this week to formulate the party platform and rule on various delegate disputes, it is becoming more evident that PAUL”S INFLUENCE WILL BE MINIMAL, Republican strategists tell me.”

      • annebeck58 says:

Yes, Jim. I read the article.
And, I will accept the actual quote from Doug Wead, but I will not accept the words of this writer as anything but more opinion. I responded to you in regard to the actual quote from Doug, and nothing else, as I don’t choose to bother myself with OPINION pieces.
This is why I gave the writer’s words the weight I felt they deserved; little.

      • Jim says:

Paul will NOT seek the nomination form the floor and anyone attempting to nominate him will only cause embarrassment and shame to the guy.

“The Texas congressman’s campaign says it has identified 373 delegates and alternates who support Paul”
        http://www.politico.com/blogs/burns-haberman/2012/08/paul-camp-urges-decorum-among-supporters-in-tampa-132445.html

Do you really think subjecting Paul to the embarrassment of only getting 373 votes (oh wait the figure quoted by the campaign includes alternates..oops!) out of 2,286 on National television is the best retirement gift?

      • annebeck58 says:

There are unbound (of course) delegates who have chosen to go, “stealth”, rather than have to deal with this year’s RNC garbage. Considering what I went through today, being lied to by at least one person very high up in the Texas Rep Party, I cannot say as I can blame them.
We shall see what happens, though it seems the bullies in the, “club”, are insisting that this is Mitt’s game. I really don’t get it, because Mitt is already losing to Obama, and that’s not going to change.
        – unless they rig the voting, which is a real prospect.

      • annebeck58 says:

        Embarrassment?
I don’t think so– either way.
And, if the GOP of some particular states wake the heck up and realize what we’ve all said about Mitt is true (even some of what has been on the SnewZ), could be a “Reagan-80″ moment.
        Who knows?
        Nobody, as of yet.

      • Jim says:

Didn’t you watch the Q and A with Doug Wead on Facebook annebeck58?

        Chris :
Doug can you definitively answer this question: Has Ron Paul garnered enough to be nominated from the floor?
        Doug Wead:
Chris… from he floor? Nope. Not according to the rules that are now in play.

      • annebeck58 says:

No, I do not “do” the facebook.
We shall see how this plays out. I am not going to prognosticate any more…. Let’s simply wait and see, okay?
But, IF the RNC is stupid enough to fool the GOP and the elected delegates, they will get what they have coming. It will be a blade, with which they may slit their own throats, figuratively of course, by blacking-out Dr Paul and all of HIS support.
GOP cannot continue on in this manner, not accepting true Conservatives, without suffering some major consequences.
It’s essentially up to them, but I see this (proposed) move as an act of political suicide.

    • Nicky Nelson says:

I agree, but this type of article will not distract the worker bees and Doug knows that too, so perhaps he had to write it, but knows it is impotent. Regardless, we need to get Exit Poll/Affidavits into the hands of all the delegates so we can do a hand count at the convention. Last I heard they were going to be using their flip flopping machine to count the delegates’ votes!!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    • Nicky Nelson says:

Jim – it is embarrassing to nominate your candidate from the floor? Really? LOOK AT THE CROWDS Jim… Who has the REAL numbers? It’s not rocket science. How foolish to think such things. AND if the delegates are ordered unbound by the judge and are already unbound under rule 38, Romney has exactly ZERO delegates right now. You should go figure out how the nomination process really takes place and how and when delegates are actually allocated. It is Ron Paul or Internment Camps, and I am very serious about that. Do some research, connect the dots and the reality is this is our last chance to be free. The United States is the last strong hold standing in between the war mongering profiteer banksters and the world! USSA CAMPS FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! Here is the document that proves it! Reminiscent of the WWII internment camps in which Japanese-Americans were stripped of their civil liberties, detention camps have been built across the US and are ready to go. Built by Haliburton and Managed under THIS SHOCKING OFFICIAL Army document, THE PROOF IS RIGHT HERE and it is chilling. Please share far and wide http://info.publicintelligence.net/USArmy-InternmentResettlement.pdf

DO NOT SUPPORT POLITICIANS, SHERIFFS, POLICE, ETC THAT SUPPORT THE NDAA, THE TSA, THE “PATRIOT” ACT AND THE LIKE. Whomever supports these types of infringements upon our Constitutional rights and whomever wants to infringe upon our right to bear arms IS an enemy to our Constitutional Republic and have, in essence, authorized the use of these camps!

      • Jim says:

Nicky are you suggesting the campaign is lying about how many “delegates and alternates” they have identified? If so why should the American people support someone running a dishonest campaign? The writing on the wall is plain to see with Paul’s VERY OWN senior adviser/campaign strategist Doug Wead waxing poetic over a Romney -Obama matchup with lines like “So when the Obama babies and the Romney sons square off for battle this fall,”
By all means keep ignoring the signs You’re only setting yourself up for a major disappointment next week.

annebeck58 Oh, right the “stealth” delegates. People who lied to get elected as delegates. So much for claims Ron Paul is running an honest campaign if he has inspired people to misrepresent themselves.

      • Nicky Nelson says:

Jim is a troll. He wants to convince everyone to give up their hopes and dreams of saving the Republic and the years of hard work and the ONLY candidate that is worthy of being in the White House and can save our country, so we don’t end up… being disappointed… next week? Ya, that makes perfect sense. LOL Now entering the twilight zone! Reminds me of this Ron Paul moment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JId_kGKowfI&feature=player_embedded

      • Jim says:

Funny Nick, I don’t see Ron Paul’s Campaign Strategist Doug Wead talking about “Ron Paul’s” sons squaring “off for battle this fall.” Maybe I need some sort of secret decoder ring to read whatever the heck it is you’re seeing? Or is it that you have reached stage two?

      • annebeck58 says:

No, You don’t get what I am saying, Jim.
I was stupid enough to go there and tell these people what my moral dilemma was regarding both Romney and Ryan. And, I believed their lies, that I had to go along with each and every person on their (disunity) slate, or I needed to leave the party, and not only my precinct-chair-seat.
What I am calling, “Stealth delegates”, are simply people who’ve not told the RNC or TRP (Texas Rep Party) all of their thoughts. They were not actually forced to take an oath to support Mitt, as we’ve seen (done so illicitly) in other states. Our oath has been only to uphold the party’s ideals. And, it’s ironic that we take this oath seriously, while the drones/ worker bees seem to not really pay it much mind.
At least the TRP realizes Mitt has not yet been nominated. Yet, this fact did not stop them from misleading me. They out-and-out lied to me, multiple times, and I do resent this. I should never have thought I could talk with them about my conflict, and all would have remained well. For, if you think about it, the season’s race is ending in a few months, yet the chair-seat is to be occupied for two years. Lie to me, they did.

And this is why I said that some people were smart enough to go stealth. They don’t need to tell the TRP their every thought or internal struggle, and they did not. Nothing is wrong or underhanded in regard to this.

IF you have read anything regarding what the TCRP (Travis County -Austin- Rep Party) did, as well as other county parties did, in the pre-state delegate meetings and conventions, you’d be pretty ticked off. The underhanded, disgusting, treatment of anyone they thought MAY be pro-Ron Paul, was deceitful. I could not believe some of the tactics they employed. These people, who work so hard against their own best interests, are shameless.
For whatever reason, they believe it’s okay for them to be liars, yet they want complete honesty out of us? How is this okay?

      • Rich Grise says:

“No, You don’t get what I am saying, Jim.”

Of course he doesn’t. He’s that troll. Please don’t be a trollfeeder.

      • Jjan says:

No such thing as stealth delegates. There are those who I am sure repent of their error as Rand will. They are not liars. Just misguided.

      • Jim says:

annebeck58 Thanks for attempting to clarify. Did you see the new rule change?

“delegates must indicate in writing at least one hour before the vote who they intend to nominate. ”

        http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/22/republican-convention-ron-paul_n_1822985.html

I’m sure they’ll be signing “under penalty of perjury”.

      • annebeck58 says:

        Oh, Jim;
“… attempt to clarify…”? Don’t even try to patronize me, okey-dokey? I thought we’d built up a better back and forth sort of respect than that!
Regarding the remainder of your note, and delegates signing-on their support with one or the other candidate? It’s something both parties have ALWAYS done. It also does not mean they cannot or will not change that vote/ opinion (for a vote is, in part, an opinion), during that hour or few hours, prior to the initial vote(s).
Again; we are expecting Romney to not quite obtain that elusive 1144 number, on the first ballot, which would (regardless of whatever anyone expects) minimally force a second casting of votes. As all delegates are unbound, unquestionably (though they are unbound even during that first go-round, too, according to RNC’s rules and statements and certainly when reading the letter of the FEDERAL ELECTION LAWS, too).
We expect for delegates to sign in and sign-on with their “choice” an hour prior to the initial voting, or prior to entering the convention-arena. Most delegations will carry huge signs and wear garments and pins and hats proclaiming their choice(s), as us USUAL. That is what generally transpires, but what is not usual is forcing delegates to sign away their votes (support, whatever) to ONE presumptuous candidate, months prior to the convention. That; which is what the RNC has tried to foist upon the delegates this year, is unprecedented. That is what we’ve had such a problem in regard to, and I have repeated this, over and over again.

Are you my twin-brother, Jim? He loves to try and argue minutia of politics, so often with me, he had his youngest son in tears over the amount of argument, four years ago– when I could not go with John McCain (and I did not go Obama, either, as I saw through his b/s, to be sure.) My twin and I have always been fine regarding these political tiffs, though he does tend to throw-out more than a few barbs, when I think the specific argument has been over for hours. In my family, political arguments are not only reasoned and rational, they have come to be expected when even two of us get together.
Considering your dealing with so many of the little things– and not letting go- you do remind me of my twin, whom I care for, but who’s proven he can drive others crazy with this “tenacity”. I hope you’re not him, but I would not be surprised, given the level you’ve sometimes stooped to (rumor-mongering) during these conversations. Consider that. okay?

        Have a nice day.

      • Surfisher says:

        Nicky Nelson — exactly!

But, posting that there may be something in the works to neuter the Mitt, will make them even more desperate in committing further frauds that will work against them….

        (it’s called: “Tactics of Mistake”)

      • Jim says:

“Smokescreen”? Right. Take a look at Doug’s resume. He’s not going to stake his reputation on lying for a campaign that he’s no longer on the payroll for. Don’t see him reporting about the ‘Louisiana Compromise”do you? He’s moved on with his life. Like I said before, you can learn a lot from Doug.

      • Nicky Nelson says:

I vote to remove the troll Jim/Tex from this forum, so he cannot participate, if that’s what you want to call it, during this most critical time. It would spoil his fun in baiting freedom fighters to waste their time explaining the obvious. In fact, lets make a new rule, just like the RNC, three aye’s and he is out. LOL All in favor say “AYE”!

      • annebeck58 says:

        And, to Holly, TOO:
Here’s a second part of hard-proof of ELECTION FRAUD:

If you wan to see ALL of the fraud, in primaries, caucuses, and conventions, check out LibertyUSAPac,wordpress.com/ and check it out. What has transpired this election season is nothing short of despicable. That it’s been done by people who are supposed to be on the SAME SIDE as us, is more than bothersome.

In regard to banning or barring anyone from participating in this blog, I will never pressure Doug or anyone to do so. In fact, though some of what Jim posts in silliness, some is on-topic, too. It all depends on who’s talking to him, or at him, in my experience.
Asking to limit anyone’s speech is, in my opinion, not very libertarian, so I will not ask for it.
(Hope you understand, it’s not that I generally enjoy his posts, but that I do not think we should ask that Doug shut-down anyone, other than those who break rules Doug Wead has, himself, established.)

      • Rich Grise says:

Nicky: Please don’t be a trollfeeder, and please don’t advocate censorship before the fact. “Jim” might be an idiot, and he might be an Obamney shill, but freedom of speech is freedom of speech. Also, this is Mr. Wead’s blog, and as such his private property (to whatever extent his webhost has contracted for), to do with as he wishes. It’s so hard to explain the problems of trollfeeding to the trollfeeders. Sigh.

Meanwhile, I’m voting Ron Paul even if I have to write him in!

Ron Paul 2012 or Bust! Literally!

      • Jim says:

Nicky i’ve asked Surfisher on countless occasions to provide a verifiable quote of Ron Paul advocating banishment for those whom he disagrees and they have produced nothing. Nada.In fact Paul’s own actions have shown quite the opposite:
        Breakfast With Bernanke
        http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2012/05/ron-paul-had-breakfast-with-ben.html
Great way to represent your candidate!

      • Nicky Nelson says:

I know Anne, I have seen it. I spoke with Dr. K a couple of days ago! He has worked tirelessly. I love him!

      • annebeck58 says:

        Absolutely, Nicky.
Dr K has been AMAZING, and as you said, has worked tirelessly. Some of the information he’s brought to light was something I thought we’d never see.
Now, we need to figure out some way to get others (esp Repubs on their way to this farcical coronation) to see what really happened, in order to convince them to not go with Mitt. I’ve tried, repeatedly, and I know many others have also tried. I really don’t see how, if these Mitt-delegates are aware of what has been done to us, and if they participated in this– unwittingly- how they can or will continue it. Surely, the average Rep does not wish to “win” by negating our votes? Or, do they?
I want Ron Paul to win, but I only wish for it to happen– FAIRLY. Is this not what the majority of this country wants?

Know what’s crazy? Bill Moyers is only NOW asking for those who’ve seen vote-fraud and voter-suppression (and all else that’s been perpetrated against US and Ron Paul) to submit their stories. He NOW wants to put it out there.
In a way, I say, what’s the point, now?
Is it another ploy to get Obama selected, again? Or, does Moyers actually want to do some good? Our stories have been out for months, and if Moyers wanted to write about it, or put it up on a “news” site, he has had ample time, before the final ax comes down, on what has been moved up to Monday.

*Yes, if I were part of the ugliest faction(s) of the GOP and RNC, I would not want to be in the vicinity of Hurricane Isaac, especially if I believed in god and what god might do to those mistreating others so terribly/ GOP/RNC may want to get out of Dodge for this reason.

      • Rich Grise says:

Shouldn’t “God” be capitalized? After all, it is Her name.

And actually, She’s fairly confident that Peace will win this time.

This might very well be the final battle between Good and Evil:
        http://www.godchannel.com

      • annebeck58 says:

Well, Rich, as I do not believe in an all-knowing and all-powerful god, I would not capitalize it. But, if you do, go ahead.

I do hope people also understand that we have an obvious Agent Provocateur, here, and this person has worked very hard to ensure that the words of his or her, “enemy”, are always available for viewing. I have discussed this with others (in private) who’ve also posted on this blog, and we’ve all come to the same conclusion. It’s why I will not be bothered by said person, again…; except to tell him or her to zip it.

      • Rich Grise says:

Well, yeah, there’s no all-knowing, all-powerful “god” in the sense I think you’re using it (as most people have been trained to do), but I believe that that’s being healed. Spirit has been as baffled as we all are what happened, but The Divine Will is finally being reconstituted, and the Divine Will is synonymous with each of our own Personal Wills. God’s Will is Free Will, Free Will is God’s Will. That’s why Freedom is my Worship Word (with gratitude to Mr. Roddenberry, who I believe came up with the line.)

Or either that or this latest batch of Medicinal is really kick-ass! ;-)

      • annebeck58 says:

ah, but I could have (and should have) qualified it with, “a god”, or “his/their god”.

  6. annebeck58 says:

I know you were focusing on the children, but, when you spoke of other relatives, particularly brothers, you failed to mention George Obama. I realize it may not be huge, within the Democratic party, but believe you, me, the Reps are pulling out all stops when it comes to exposing the contentious (and neglectful?) treatment George Obama, of Kenya, receives from his brother, the president.
Every conservative blogsite has focused on two things, of late; whether or not Obama is the son of Barack Obama, Sr., and if he is, why our president does nothing for his own brother, who lives in a terrible slum and had to ask someone, not his brother, for money to have his sick child treated in a Kenyan hospital.
I don’t really know if this story will sprout wings and fly, but I do know it’s everywhere, except here.
And I don’t know if you’re trying to stay above that particular fray, or if you were not aware of the many stories, including the new video: “Dreams From My Real Father”.
Either way, it probably should be mentioned, if Obama is the son of the now deceased Obama, and the brother of Kenyan George, no?

  7. I’m on an Obama email list and received something on the order of twenty+ emails over a two month period effusing about Obama’s upcoming birthday and asking me to send him $3 as a birthday present. The emails were often “signed” by Michelle, and maybe also by the kids. I remember at least one that included a photo of Obama and cake and laughing kids trying to cut and/or feed the cake to each other with family all gathered around and laughing. That pic came about halfway through the time period and I never DID figure out how the “cake ceremony” pics arrived in the MIDDLE of a two month birthday fundraising blitz.

I don’t think I have EVER seen a political campaign so crassly aimed at the “Give us and our cute little kids money!” target at any time in my entire life. Heck, take the “think” out of it: I **KNOW** that I have never seen that!

    - MJM

    • Surfisher says:

Michael J. McFadden — haha, good one!

    • annebeck58 says:

Guess what, Michael? Mitt Romney and Co. are begging for that same three-dollars, as of this week.
I would not give these people three cents, let alone three dollars, and don’t know why they would send me emails. I guess I ended up on their list when I took the GOP Oath of Allegiance?
I can always get Mitt’s emails sent to the spam folder, but sometimes it’s fun (and interesting) to see what that side is doing, in desperation.
Mitt Romney IS a fall-guy and the RNC has, obviously, received some sort of payment to use Mitt in this way. Obama will be (s)elected in November, and it will be at the hand of the RNC, as well as the dummies in GOP. These GOP people just don’t get it– but they will.
I don’t usually like going with the, “I told you so”, thing. This time I think I will have to do so.

      • Rich Grise says:

For some months now, I’ve been sending out this quip to everyone I can spam with it:

“If RMoney lies, cheats, and defrauds his way into the presidency the way he’s currently lying, cheating, and defrauding his way into the nomination, then when things don’t get any better ($2.50 for a loaf of BREAD????) or get even worse, please don’t say we “Paulbots” didn’t try to warn you!

Ron Paul 2012 or Bust! Literally!”

      • annebeck58 says:

Perhaps Mitt needs a loaf of bread and a “penny candy”? Remember when penny-candies were a penny? I recall some being two-for-a-penny. Now they are fifty-cents, plus tax.
        What a world.
I cannot recall the last loaf of bread I purchased that was less than 2.50, though. Maybe Mitt hasn’t been to the grocery-store in a while, if ever?

  8. I like the “Dreamy” Romney boy that was involved in the Ponzi scheme with his daddy. The second biggest Ponzi right under Bernie Madoff’s ponzi. What’s his name?…Tagg! That’s it. Tagg knows how to launder that money.

    • annebeck58 says:

      Yep. Tagg; he’s IT.

But, Tagg will go the way of MF’er, Corzine (MF GLOBAL), who’s gotten away with stealing well over a billion dollars (wonder where MItt got his G/S funds? Same place as Obama, and it’s not exactly kosher). In fact, don’t be surprised if we see Tagg run for POTUS, with the backing of the Goldman-Sachs children, in about 20 or 30 years. Once these families get a taste of power, they do not let it go; the youngsters seem to think it’s their birthright, like they are royalty or something of the sort.

And this is the sort of folk the work-a-day, struggling, families in the states’ GOP want to support? They believe these terrible people are on their side? How inane is that?

    • It’s pitiful, isn’t it? I’d hoped to see the next generation turn towards the ideals of liberty, but with so much filth and corruption and huge amounts of money behind the Goldman-Sachs children, it seems almost hopeless.
I cannot believe what we have watched with our own eyes over the last several months in this country, and how corrupt our political system has become.

      • annebeck58 says:

        Hey, Holly!
It is despicable how these people, “behave”, as if it is theirs to obtain and keep and ours to lose (of course), to them. It’s like they are born with no conscience, or have it removed from their brains, at a very young age.
Maybe this is why they all look so much alike (and, no I do not mean the children look like the parents; I mean the whole gaggle of grotesque GOP look alike). Mitt and Ryan look like father and son. Reince Priebus looks like Ryan. I wonder, sometimes, if it’s like the British=Royals. Do they inbreed or what?

I may, if I am pushed any further, find myself having to leave the Rep Party, though I really feel I have more right to be there, because I uphold the party’s platform more to the letter than these folk. They so easily and readily sign their names and speak these oaths, with no attention paid to what the oath says.
It blows my mind how they do this.. willingly and unwittingly. Craziness, to be sure.

I also see Ron Paul as much more Republican, in word and in deed, than any of these Neo-Cons, as I have told the TRP and TCRP. (I am always tempted to add an “a” to TCR_P)

  10. Hi Anne! I truly wish we could get your inform1854305ation about each state’s Romney bullies, the Obama brother insanity, and everything else you mention to people far and wide. They need to know how totally duped they’ve been. So very, very sad. I will write in Ron Paul. I will NOT give in to Reince Priebus and the GOP corruption machine. I’m currently a registered Republican, but will very soon be registered Libertarian. I can no longer in good conscience support the GOP.
    Always enjoy your Twitter updates.

    • Rich Grise says:

I changed my registration to Republican from Libertarian so that I could vote Dr. Paul in the California primary. My ballot disappeared into the maw of some machine, so I have no idea if it got legitimately counted. But if Dr. Paul doesn’t win the nomination and the presidency (or win the presidency by write-in votes!), then it will all become moot. I fear that if either of the Obamas (Brrrack or Willard) gets into power, there won’t be much point in ever hoping for an end to the wars and all of the other insanity.

      • annebeck58 says:

        You and me, both, Rich.
I have no idea how my vote was counted, only that it was counted as Republican, because I have seen it in writing. I am quite sure more than a few votes were just destroyed (not counted, went away in the air of the wi-fi, or possibly went in the Demoncrat column). I know this because i was told by the person managing the Rep-sign-in pages, she had 155 votes in the middle of the afternoon. Yet, when the Rep votes were displayed by the Bipartisan-Crime-Inc, of Travis County, there were only 101 votes (I thought the print-out for the particular precinct was a sample-vote-count, based on what I KNEW to be valid.) I cannot say it was the Travis County Election Board that did this, but I know it was done, somehow (and by someone). Still, who knows what really happened? I do not. I can make educated guesses, based on my experience there, but i don’t know how they arrived at much of their “count: (and I do believe it would have been an even 50 votes, pre-election-day, and 100 on E.D., but had to add one person we were forced to do paperwork for. Had it not been for this woman and her paper-trail, I do think it would have been 100 Rep votes, on E-day)

Regarding Jim; I have decided to employ a different tactic. I am reasonable and respectful with him and he knows I expect the same in return. Thus-far, it’s actually been a fairly pleasant exchange, though he knows (too) I am not an empty-headed push-over.
I see this as a lot better than what we were (all) experiencing prior to the “talk” Jim and I had in this regard. I see nothing wrong with this. In fact, I see this as being better for Doug Wead’s sake, as well as mine (and even Jim’s). He may agree or he may disagree, but it’s how i read it.
And, surely, it’s better than the other reactions we’ve all seen.

      • Jim says:

“I have no idea if it got legitimately counted”

California has a population of 38 MILLION , with 17 MILLION registered voters. Less than 30,000 showed up at all of Paul’s California combined. There was no conspiracy, no fraud…Just simple math. Certainly the campaign was happy with the results or they would have asked for a recount. They did not. So maybe it’s time to start packing your bags for Somalia, which is a libertarian paradise (no laws, no government regulations, just Freedom and Liberty!).

Holly- Dr K (Dr Cass Ingram) HAS made-up a great post that proves all of the bullying, as well as FRAUD, and other law-breaking. I know I tweeted in regard to it, multiple times. I believe I have subbed his posts and if I can find them, will tweet them to you.
      Boy, is it an eye-opener.
I know some people want to believe everything about the votes WAS Kosher– but for sure, it was NOT.
Again; I know I saw vote-fraud transpire, but as the Election Board has had more than an inkling that they are being looked-into for this, the ONE precinct we’ve studied with no mistakes or explored vote-error/ vote-plucking, was this precinct.
I saw one-hundred-fifty-five voters choose to utilize the Republican ticket to cast their votes (and i know more than a handful of these folk ARE Democrats and Indies), and the Election Board has only displayed/ counted one-hundred-one votes, it’s obvious to ME that some votes were disposed of or changed (to Dem side?), or “overlooked”.
I don’t have a way to prove it and I feel someone has worked very hard to ensure I cannot prove it, either.

“Delegates from Arizona are broken down in El Paso and their motor home has developed a problem that requires a WELDING RIG. At this point, if I can’t find someone in the area someone will be driving a welder we have from Phoenix to Texas – thereby losing precious time.”
    http://www.dailypaul.com/250208/delegate-emergency-assistance-request-el-paso-texas

A motor home? With and $2,5 cash on hand why isn’t the campaign FLYING these delegates to Tampa? Or at the very least providing emergency assistance? I bet Jesse Benton will be flying first class…

    • annebeck58 says:

      Jim, Jim, Jim…
I happen to know a LOT of people (my own parents, who are not what you can call, “truthers”) who will NOT allow themselves to be subjected to the usual feel-up pat-down of the TSA, and so prefer (PREFER) to take a road-trip than go with “Public Transit”, of any sort. This certainly includes planes, trains, and buses (as the TSA is set-up in ALL of them).

Don’t presume any person has not flown because they cannot afford to fly. Many of us have been through some disgustingly invasive so-called, “searches”, by TSA, and many of us will never fly, again.

I missed the funerals of my brother-in-law (December) and that of my own brother (February, this year), because what the TSA does to people who’ve had metal joint-implants (which is what explains the overt hands-on searches of elderly, as the group tends to have had joint-replacements) is DESPICABLE. I know I come away with (worsened) PTSD, each time I have to fly, for medical appointments up in Boston, and I just cannot do this again.
If I have to go ANYWHERE, I will also rent a vehicle. Oh, and how much do you think it costs to rent an RV for over a week? Surely, it’s more than flying. Besides, when they arrive, they already have lodging. So, it’s a win-win proposition.

Expand your mind and consider why people do things in their own manner(s). If these people knew they would take an RV, cross-country, they really should have budgeted for emergency repairs. Don’t you think so?

      • Jim says:

Why hasn’t the campaign chartered private planes for the delegates (not subject to TSA)? Why are they forcing them to use government built roads (not very Libertarian)?

      • annebeck58 says:

Oh, come on! Do you have any idea what kind of monies they’d be looking at? In general, Dr Paul’s delegates are very conservative, and I mean money-wise. I cannot think of one delegate I know that would want a private plane to the convention, certainly not on the campaign’s dime.
That, in my opinion, is a silly prospect.

Why don’t we take the moon-shuttle, if we’re going to go there? Heck, Texans could take the shuttle, with NASA here, and all.
I hope this was a joke? Its how I’m reading it.
Regarding roads; most Libertarians and libertarian-minded Republicans realize roads must be built and maintained. However, we also believe it should be a state-thing, and not federal. The federal govt gets into far too many things they should not be in, thus costing all of us a lot more cash (taxes). Why do we need so many federal-departments, when we already have state-departments set-up to do the same thing(s)? Why pay for overseers in D.C., when we already have overseers, per state?

        That’s silliness..

      • Rich Grise says:

“Why are they forcing them to use government built roads”

Probably because building our own would be prohibitively expensive and probably couldn’t get finished by this Sunday Heck, it could take months just to find a right-of-way!.

This has got to be the pinnacle of troll stupidity I’ve seen today. Thanks for the chuckle!

      • Jim says:

Considering they are delegates it seems pretty irresponsible they try to make the journey in a broken down mobile home esp. considering they’ve had months to plan/do any necessary repairs. Not to mention they will be faced with road closures once or should I say IF they reach Tampa. And if they have “Ron Paul” stickers on there vehicle they wave a red flag to law enforcement to stop them to check for drugs and guns , esp. with out of state license plates…most cops (as well as members of organized labor across the country) are against Paul for his proposed “National Right To Work Act” (see his website) and would welcome the opportunity to harass some of the guy’s supporters. Then there is the possibility of a road accident. In my opinion having to deal with TSA is a small sacrifice compared to the odds of not getting to Tampa on time.

      • Jim says:

Glad I could make you chuckle Rich Grise!

      • Nicky Nelson says:

And good for you Anne! I have never let the TSA touch me or my family, I REFUSE TO FLY UNDER ANY CONDITIONS. If everybody did that for just a week, those creatures would go away!!!

      • Rich Grise says:

Refusing to fly would be a little hard on the airlines, but the gropers will just move to the bus stations and taxi stands.

      • annebeck58 says:

        Hey, Nicky;
They are everywhere, as far as “public” transit is concerned.
As far back as 2002, they were installed in bus-stations (yet not bus-stops.. hmm- is that next?), as well as train-stations.
The kids and I took a trip up to CT, from TX, and there they were in New Haven’s train-depot.

The only way to do it is to drive, on your own in your own vehicle, or they are there. I don’t know how we can get people to completely stop relying on public-transit, say for a week, but we may be able to put a dent in it?
        Ideas?

But, yes, Rich; they are there– everywhere. It’s sickening to me. Generally, I have taken trains and planes (and even a bus or two) when going between NY to Ct to Philly, to Boston, for medical appts and surgeries. Having to go through their feel-up pat-down really is horrible, especially when one is bandaged, and these idiots think they have the, “right”, to push and prod hard enough to break stitches. I know; they did it to me. I even offered to remove the bandages so they could see what was under, but they weren’t interested. Idiots.

      • annebeck58 says:

        That’s great to know, Nicky!
The Arizona team worked very hard in the farce of a convention (filled with ballot-stuffing, no air-conditioner, crazy people everywhere) and they deserve to be seated.
Here’s something I believe a lot of people do not know. Though Mitt supposedly has all of these delegates (and alternates), MANY will never show-up. People were signing-up their neighbors and family members, as delegates, and when phoned (at least in Austin), these same people said, “Go to Hell, I want nothing to do with this” (funny, eh?)
SO Mitt is actually worried that all of these great Mitt Delegates simply will NOT SHOW UP. And as a quorum must be reached, for each state, there will be many seats opened. It’s WHY the Paul delegates and alternates MUST BE THERE- to at least fill these seats.
Otherwise, we do lose. And, of course, we may lose because it seems the RNC is not interested in actually following ANY rules, like taking a VOTE from the delegates– at ALL. Now, it seems they plan on crowning Mitt prom-king on Monday, rather than the usual and planned-for Wednesday. Their excuse of, “hurricane”, sounds an awful lot like the “Maine Snowstorm”, which never happened. But. it is what they do.

Regarding the ugliest poster here; do yourself (and me) a favor and do not pay any attention. Ultimately, you will as I did; lose any sense of going along with that. Most of us have had enough for, even when her/his “adversary” says nothing, this foolish one posts and reposts his words.
I will not be a part of that insanity.

    • annebeck58 says:

2.45 mil (closer to actual number) is a lot of money; certainly to me and I suppose to you. But, it will hardly by a national one-minute ad, these days.
I do trust Dr Ron Paul with these funds, as I am sure we’ll receive a final tally, and know he will help other libertarian-minded folks with their own runs, with what is left.
Most of us understand this is what happens, and we’re good with it. As long as not a dime goes to that Rom/Ryan team, I’m okay.

Doug — how long will you put up with this creature (that wants to see Ron Paul dead)…?!

    • annebeck58 says:

Once again; that quote does not equate to wishing him dead. It is merely another jab at Dr Paul, in regard to his age, and I have heard MUCH worse from the Ron Paul supporters!

      • Jim says:

Once again you’re reading comprehension skills outshine the others on here.

      • Surfisher says:

annebeck58 — there is no such thing as betting on human life in Vegas (illegal and immoral) — “Vegas odds” is this creature’s roundabout way of saying is wants to see Ron Paul dead!

Jeesh — how naive to think otherwise….

p.s. nice job continuing to feed the troll….

      • annebeck58 says:

One more time, it was an off-the-cuff expression, not wishing anyone ill. I realize, as you are a bit more than ultra-focused on what you think he said, you are not actually reading (and comprehending) what he did say.
And, I am not, “troll-feeding”. But, you have been, if in your mind, Jim is a troll. Before he can even read and respond to a post, there you are, posting the words you say you find so “offensive”. It would be humorous if not so sad.
Since I have decided to respond respectfully, to Jim? I have received reasoned and respectful replies from him. Jim and I will never agree on many issues but we do agree on one thing: This is not your blog and your incessant posting of the same words is showing abuse of an over-wrought and confused mind.
Take a break. Leave us all be. Don’t make inane assessments and put them out there, constantly. Truly, regarding your writing (which hardly ever relates to the post at hand), I have had more than my fill. NO wonder others have a go at you. You always respond just as expected, as if on cue.
Re: trained dogs? Et tu, Brute? Consider your own actions before accusing anyone else of what you, yourself, are doing.
        It’s completely inane.

And hey; if you have so much time and so much to say, why not write-up your own blog, where you can be as miserable as you like without offending so many?

      • Surfisher says:

annebeck58 — crossing over to the dark side…?

        Shame on you!

How sad…and I called you a patriot… (why don’t you two move your love-fest exchanges to your own blog…instead of creating the ‘Jim’ (aka ‘tex2′) pollution here)!

      • annebeck58 says:

One more time; I broke my word to no-one. I gave you no, “word”. If anyone should be feeling shame, it would be you, for the ugliness and crassness you display, multiple times per day, for MONTHS on end.

      • annebeck58 says:

Love fest? No, more of an issue of respect, which you display none of. You don’t even respect Doug Wead enough to knock this off. You “INSIST” that Doug ban people because, according to you, his words are offensive?? Then you go on and repeat his words, and make them out to be not what they were meant as, repeatedly.
I’ve told you for months, now, I do not agree with your words and/or your tactic (singular). I will never agree. And if I can garner respect from Jim, by showing him a bit of respect, it is none of your business.

    • annebeck58 says:

If anyone IS “troll-feeding”, it would be you- repeatedly, incessantly, and ridiculously (as well as in the most vile manner possible.) Before he can say ANYTHING, you repeat his words, for him. How inane is that?

Makes people see YOU as the worst A/P here; so obvious in each of your moves– or, MOVE, as you seem to only have one. Also, your “list” or petition is not accurate. Some people on that list have already told you they did NOT agree with what you’ve said and your call to ban anyone. Yet, you go on with it?
Really? Troll? AS I said, yesterday; et tu, Brute?

      • Rich Grise says:

A blond, a brunette, and Paul Ryan walk into a church to use the confessional. The blond walks into the booth first.
“Father forgive me for I have sinned. I looked at Romney’s private part.”
The priest tells her to say 7 Hail Mary’s and wash her eyes with the Holy Water.
Next the brunette walks into the booth.
“Father forgive me for I have sinned. I have touched Romney’s private part”
The priest tells her to say 7 Hail Mary’s and wash her hands in the Holy Water.
So now the blond and the brunette are standing by the Holy Water, the blond washing her eyes and the brunette washing her hands. Paul Ryan comes rushing over.
“Step aside sisters, I have to gargle!”

      (Doug…are you paying attention)?!?

      • Nicky Nelson says:

I am an admin and half owner of Lawyers for Ron Paul and many other key groups on Facebook. I will tell you that they have used our passion for freedom of speech against us to the point of absurdity. A traitor to the Republic is just that. This isn’t politics as usual folks, this is war; war against the SOVEREIGNTY of our very nation, against our Constitutional rights and it means the difference between our children growing up in a free society vs a communist one-world government run prison camp! So, take out the trash in my opinion, we have let the infiltrators and traitors disrupt the freedom movement for far too long. The truth will set us free, not protecting the so-called rights of traitors. Just look what they have done to the Daily Paul, it’s shameful.

      • annebeck58 says:

First of all, I hope Doug is paying attention, but I have a feeling he probably passes over the majority of your crass and ugliest words, which your comments are rife with.
You do not tell me who to talk to and how to speak (or not) to these persons. In fact, it has not been anyone else polluting this blog, but has been you.
Your attitude is bad enough, but your words, repeated again and again, and anon, are more than any human being would care to bother themselves with. You go on with this incessant posting of “petition”, which gets few,if any, signatures. That the majority of people here have ignored that silliness (wrapped in ugliness) should finally tell you something.

I did not, “break my word” to anyone; surely not to YOU. I made no promises to you and I did not need to promise you anything. I am a patriot, while I think you’re over the top and bordering on the insane, with your horrid words. I will not be any part of your lunacy. This, I have told my MANY TIMES.
I decided to employ a different TACTIC (something you should look-up) in order to make the blog flow more positively, and to prevent the name-calling, etc.., so now it is only YOU calling names. Get that?
I do not go along with ANY of your words and/or vile commentary. I actually do not know why Doug does not ban YOU, for all of the attacks you’ve perpetrated on different people. You seem to think everyone will agree with you, but the more crass you’ve become, the fewer people you have on your side.
I told you, quite a while ago, I would never go along with what you say and how you say it. I will not attack people, “just because”, and i do resent you trying to put me on your level by saying I was ever, “with you”. I’d bite off my arm to get away from you.

Now, I hope this is finally getting through your head. I want nothing to do with you and will, most likely, not ever read what else you have to say, as what you say is simply ugly and mean. I don’t use the name-calling tactic, as do you (ALWAYS), and I will never approve of it. I’ve said it enough times for any sane and rational person to comprehend, yet it never got through to you?

So, grow up and/or wake up. Your choice. Regardless; as far as you’re concerned? I am done and I certainly do not hold any sadness in saying so,

  19. Jim says:

Throughout this campaign Paul supporters have claimed that self described ‘just plain Confederate” Lew Rockwell really wrote the newsletters and that Paul no longer has nothing to do with him or slavery advocate Walter Block. However the campaign has just released the official program for Paul’s “We Are The Future” rally and guess what? “Revisionist historian ” Lew Rockwell and Walter Block and members of the neoconfederate von Misses Institute are GUEST speakers! Guess the “big surprise” will be the massive stars and bars flag backdrop on the stage.
    http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelligence-report/browse-all-issues/2003/summer/into-the-mainstream?page=0,1#11

    • annebeck58 says:

Well, I do not know who specifically speculated that it was Lew Rockwell that wrote the newsletters in question. I am pretty sure Lew was editor at the time one of the newsletters was written and sent out, but the writer of either was not Lew. The pen was also not Ron Paul, as you are aware.
And, i do not agree with everything Lew Rockwell says, yet just like you, here, I agree with his right to say it. Lew would have none of us vote, as he sees it as pointless (and worse), while I believe that if enough people do get out there and vote, we can make some changes. If I am to be called, naive, about anything, it might be this
Still, Lew Rockwell is a Libertarian and quite a few people would appreciate hearing him speak. What’s wrong with this?

I talk with Lew, occasionally, in twitter. And I do enjoy our (albeit seldom) conversations. No matter what else you can and will say about the man, he is a very intelligent person, and many people would love to hear him speak. He’s also been a friend of Dr Paul for decades, so who better to speak out for Dr Paul and for all Libertarians, and libertarian-minded Republicans? What “damage” can be done by asking or allowing Lew Rockwell to speak? I think none.

I appreciate Lew taking the time out of his very busy schedule, especially considering his take on this (criminal) electoral process, to even be there and do this.
      ***
      Now:
I do have a question for you, as I have never met (or corresponded with) anyone who’s done so much investigation into Dr Paul, and came away disliking him so much. Why do you dislike him? IS there a specific rationale or is it just on principle? Will you be voting for Obama, or do you actually like Mitt? Either way; what’s your preference? Do you have one?
–like I said, i have never met anyone who seems to know, “so much in regard to Ron Paul”, yet seems to detest him. If there are many things you see as wrong about Paul, why do you post mainly opinion-pieces in his regard? Most people who are not sure about Paul or his ideas, when they go and check him out, come away agreeing with him. So, what is it that has you so anti-Ron Paul?

I am not having a go at you; I truly would like an answer. Ok?

      • Jim says:

Let’s take a look at some of the writings attributed by supporters to Llewellyn Rockwell:
        http://www.tnr.com/print/article/politics/99666/ron-paul-newsletters-part-two
Not to mention his status with the SPLC as a neo-confederate ( Rockwell himself prefers the term “just plain old confederate”). What message does having Rockwell appear Sunday send to the world about a man who denies being a closet racist (his voting record proves otherwise, voting yes to give gold medals to white astronauts and no to giving one to Rosa Parks; no to renewing the Voter’s rights Act which protect minorities from discrimination among other things)? Not that it matters much now that Jesse Benton and John Tate “negotiated” away not only any possibility of Paul being nominated from the floor but according to the article I posted below “(Ron Paul) does not have a box inside the convention hall, but Ron Paul will have a space at the Tampa Bay Times Forum”

Btw, I know of NO kittens or cats in any bags, and I am pretty up to date on all that’s happening.
The RNC did have to cheat their bottoms off and lie like never before in order to dismiss many delegates. They were not able to push-through their ten-count state b/s, but they then began to methodically strip more and more delegates, from many states, in order to mess with us.
        It is unprecedented.
And if the RNC had ANY guts, they would play the video, “What If, Ron Paul” at their stupid convention. But that would scare mittens, and make him look very bad, for sure.
        C’est la vie.

We are still in it, but it has (in a way) taken a detour.

      • annebeck58 says:

Surely, you are also aware, Jim; Richard has already filed an appeal? One reason Judge Carter threatened to dismiss the case was because the briefs had already been filed in appellate court.
But, yes; someone is passing on dysinformation, and we’re aware of it. We’re ignoring it.

It does not mean we are giving up, though. The movement is far from, “dead”. In fact, at least at the local level, it’s just beginning. And, we DO have RICO suits in the works, too. Surely, again; you’re aware of this?

      • Jim says:

Sorry I didn’t reply sooner annebeck58 I’ve been watching the comedy that is PA.U.L. Fest. Gilbert is a joke. The RNC is a private party and under the constitution political parties have a First Amendment right to “exclude people from membership and leadership roles.”
Check Gilbert’s arrest record. His reputation and record with the Orange County Bar Association, He’s a hack. It’s very hard to appeal a case when no case ever really existed: reason why it was dismissed….with prejudice.

“Plaintiffs’ six-page Response to the Order to Show Cause fails to identify a single factual allegation in the Second Amended Complaint about a specific act done by a specific defendant to a specific plaintiff that gives rise to a Voting Rights Act violation, and this Court has found none. See Response (Dkt. 47). In addition, Plaintiffs cite no authority other than one case identified by this Court in its Order to Show Cause. See id.

Accordingly, this Court DISMISSES the Second Amended Complaint WITH PREJUDICE for failure to comply with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 8, failure to state a claim under Rule 12(b)(6), and for violation of a court order pursuant to Rule 41(b).”

Gilbert is doing this to feed his ego.A nobody lawyer suddenly becomes Mr. Popular on Facebook/Twitter and he’s milking it. Why else would he put up billboards in Hollywood like this one on the corner of La Brea and Melrose?

Still, Doug,,, when you have a moment, what about this new (disgusting, un-Ameican) Rule of RNC: ** the presidential nominee has a defacto “veto power” over specific delegates or alternates ** ?? I know this went into effect, today, and has stripped US of ALL of our votes by giving mitt a way to veto ALL of our delegates. Yes, WE know Mitt is not yet the nominee, but RNC is acting like he’s the only dog in the race, so has given HIM this power over US. It’s the Iron Fist..

Even Jim has to agree this move was more akin to Communist Russia (USSR) than to any America we’ve ever known. Our votes have been proven to not count, at ANY level. I find it deplorable and really don’t know what to do from here.

They have the Constitutional right to do whatever the hell they want even if that includes alienating it’s own members. Ron Paul was just HUMILIATED in front of THE WORLD by being rejected by NINETY PERCENT of his own party. Now his followers want to force him to look like a sore loser by running third party (many states have aptly titled Sore Loser Laws which will prevent him from getting on the ballot).Give the man a break! He’s finished! Let him ride off into the sunset to enjoy his golden years working in his garden, riding his bike, and enjoying the company of his grandchildren.

      • annebeck58 says:

        Now, Jim.
That is not it went. Surely, you know this. The RNC had to cheat, lie, and finally change rules (in the middle of the “game”) to kick US out. And after this, some buses carrying delegates back to the Convention Center after lunch, “got lost for over an hour.” Could they have been more transparent?

However, regarding Ron Paul NOW running as Indy? I do not think it’s “Legally” possible (haha, discussing RNC, American politics, etc.., in legal terms; to think!!). It’s called, “the sour grapes rule”, and basically states that an individual running for office on one slate, may not go to next party’s slate after loss.., but will depend on whether or not RNC (in thie lunacy, idiocy, nastiness, and desperation to NOT allow Ron Paul any action during this “party fete”) actually had his name IN for nomination, whether we did or not, or if they did not.

Could be RNC screwed the pooch; maybe Mitt’s own ride-atop-the-car, Fluffy, in more than one way. I am sure it would take at least one attorney to figure this out, and i happen to know a few attorneys I can ask. By the way; the delegates’ case is still in appellate court, for whether or not Ron Paul got through this (s)election, or not, we were still wronged. On top of it, we DO have a couple of RICO suits in the works. All is not lost.

Regardless; Mitt Romney will lose come November because that is the hand he’s been dealt. Mitt’s a Fall guy, and many of us know this; have known it since IOWA. I am sure I do not need to explain this to most Ron Paul supporters, as we’ve watched this garbage-race unfold, quite closely.

Wake up, AMERICA; (especially you Republicans), your vote matters- NOT! The RNC wants your cash, your warn bodies, and your support. But, they do not want your ideas or your plans. They don’t care for the Constitution of these United States; just as much as Obama.
When November the 4th rolls around, and we end up with four years, “MO_bama”, do not blame it on the Ron Paul supporters. You have only yourselves and the most self-destructive GOP and RNC, in over fifty years, on YOUR side, and to blame.
NO blaming Ron Paul or his supporters, for we did try and warn you, in all ways possible.

        Great job, Mittiots.

      • Jim says:

Annebeck58 It is deliciously ironic that Paul’s supporters feel discriminated against. Ron Paul defends the right of PUBLIC business owners to discriminate against minorities (he opposes the Civil Rights Act) Now his supporters, at the hands of a PRIVATE organization (the GOP). get a taste of what the good Doctor himself prescribes.

BTW: I was being generous with the final count: Ron Paul =190
So where were all the stealth delegates? Today the ‘Liberty movement’ got exposed for what it truly is: AstroTurf.

      • annebeck58 says:

Have you paid so little attention to not comprehend the rule-changing, up to and including this morning:? I have copies of ALL of what they attempted to do (and did), in Tampa, that people should truly worry for the state of this nation.
No, the RNC and GOP are not exactly, “private clubs”, because they deal with PUBLIC POLICY. You really should read a bit more, if you want to keep up on what’s happening; it’s even being posted in SnewZ outlets, what they did to ALL of the delegates for Ron Paul, in order to prevent the number of state-plurality.. and that it was done, “in the middle of the game”, was sick.
It was akin to tossing over the checkers-board when someone does a triple-jump and gets, “kinged”. Is that how YOU play? And that what they did affects ALL of our lives really should bother you, unless you are not American, (NO, I did not look up your I.P. address; I don’t do that sort of thing).
Anyway; beware, buddy; if they could do this to us, they can do it to anyone. And, it feels a lot more like that terrible USSR we were all taught of, as children, than anything, “American”. Anyway, I am done.. at least for now.
But, you should care about your future, and if you have kids, their futures, too. This is very dangerous territory the RNC pulled us all into.

        (ugh)
Just wrote a long comment and cannot tell if it posted or disappeared into the black-hole of the internet.
Anyway; regardless of what party you align yourself with, this will happen to YOU, if Mittens gets away with silencing voices and votes in this manner. It’s ELECTION FRAUD. It is against Federal LAWS.
And, if you are an American, this surely should upset you, too.
Mitt has made the RNC look like Communist China or USSR and for this, Mitt should be sent to the gulag.
YOU should be thanking Ron Paul supporters, as we don’t only stand up for our rights, we also stand up for YOURS.

Now, try and be a bit positive, rather than going back to the name-calling rants. I cannot go along with this behaviour and, so, will not bother to respond to you if you do not stop it and type-out rational responses to my replies.

Remember; IF it can happen to US, within the GOP, it can surely happen to you– regardless of party affiliation.
If you’re not, “into politics”, then what are you doing here?

  31. Without taking time to read all 177+ responses (to see if anyone else has already pointed this out), I’m pretty sure Romney would NOT be the first president to have a family with five sons. 10th President John Tyler had, I believe, 8 sons total–between two wives (but 5 with his 2nd wife alone).

  32. annebeck58 says:

It is COMMUNISM. It’s a LOSS of our voting power, completely.
Mainly? It is disgusting. It was the “insiders” stealing votes by forcing-out delegates; duly elected delegates. I have never seen anything quite so deplorable in my lifetime.
I so want out of the GOP, but I also feel a responsibility to my own town, and my area in particular, to stay in. It’s a terrible spot to be in.
I will NOT be stumping-for or handing out signs for Mitt Romney; I will not use my garage as “party central”, as I’ve been asked to do. I simply will never support garbage like Mitt Romney OR Paul Ryan.

IF you want your vote to count, we not only have to throw the bums out ,but we must replace them- NOW.

    • Jim says:

Please snap out of it annebeck58 It’s a private organization behaving like, well, a private organization, as is their right to do under the Constitution (you remember the Constitution don’t you?). If the GOP were a public organization it would be a different story but they are not. As a private organization they can do whatever the heck they want. End of story. As Eric golub said in the video i posted above. If you don’t like the Republican Party, leave. They’ve made it clear time and time again they do not want Ron Paul OR his supporters. The fact they keep trying to be a part of a party that clearly does not want them is beginning to have some seriously sadomasochistic overtones.

      • annebeck58 says:

Darling; again, it deals with PUBLIC POLICY and peoples’ right(s) to have their say via their votes, as well as their delegates.
We will not leave the GOP because some guy (whomever that is) says so. We will only leave on our own terms. It’s NOT a private organization, and even IF it were, they took our time, accepted our oath(s), and made these same vows to us. When it came down to behaving legally and legitimately, they did not. So, believe you me; even if it were some sort of private party (again, based on the FACT that they do deal with PUBLIC policy and American votes), that they did accept and reciprocate this OATH of ALLEGIANCE, with us, makes them subject to legal actions.

DO just a bit of research on political parties (as well as private clubs),and you will comprehend that either must hold up their end of the LEGAL bargain… Start with “Torts”, as I will not do all of your research for you, ok?

      • annebeck58 says:

By the way; IF they wanted all of the Paul supporters out, Paul RYAN would not be begging US to stay and vote for him and Mitt- and begging is what Ryan is doing, right now.
Don’t think I will believe everything you said, or what some guy I’ve never even heard of says. This guy is not saying what the majority of GOP is saying, and you’re simply wrong in posting his tripe as fact.
In FACT, the RNC is not saying what the majority of GOP(s) is saying. Even Gov LePage, of Maine (a Mittens supporter) boycotted this (s)election process, because he comprehends just how wrong (evil, illicit, and illegal) the actions taken by the RNC are.
Gov. LePage has some cajones; what about you? Seems not, considering what you choose to do, day in and day out.

      • annebeck58 says:

Regarding your response, below, about the 47 mil raised? Obviously, you have zero idea what it takes to run NATIONAL and even state-wide ads on television (as well as youtube and other sites). We know.
One reason Dr Paul chose to not run these ads (some, donated to the campaign, by supporters) in particular primary states was due to the cost of AIRING the ads. Prior to this (May decision), we (the Paul camp) were paying a hefty fee for air-time.
So, as they say; do not get it twisted. Most of us know that 47 million for a NATIONAL campaign is really not a lot of money. Look at what cuckoo Mayor of NYC paid, to win this time.. it was more than twice what Ron Paul has taken in and paid out for his campaign. I know you like to play these games regarding this money, but the great majority of us who did donate feel that it was money well=spent.

IF you have some SPECIFICS regarding monies being spent where they should not have been, then post them. But, until you have these specific charges, don’t play games.

A REAL Human Being (Ron Paul) needs to be present at the “Debates” — we just can’t allow a Punch-and-Judy Show (the Rmoney puppet parleying with the BO puppet) — someone with REAL SUBSTANCE needs to expose these two clowns!

Ron Paul is the only one capable of this!

Ron Paul to WIN as Independent!

Ron Paul appeals to all True Americans — the only candidate that bridges the gaps — Liberals, Libertarians, Conservatives, Democrats, Republicans and INDEPENDENTS!

      Here is the Math:

      1) Pulls (even with rigged GOP voting machines) 12%+ Republicans
      2) Will garner 10%+ of the Dems vote (the true liberals and the undecided)
      3) 3%+ of the Libertarian Vote
      4) 15%+ of the Independent Vote

      (these are conservative figures)
      ————————————————–

The total is — 40% or more for Ron Paul! (Bye, bye Mitt and BO)!

In a three-way-race — all Ron Paul needs to become the Next President of the USA is 35% (since the BO and the Mitt will be virtually tied (the BO at 33% and the Mitt at 32%))!

Done deal — now make sure you sign the below petition so Ron Paul RUNS as Independent for the Presidency — or lose our Nation in 2012!

Doug — here is the Title for your next Book (free of charge):

    *History Will Remember 2012 Forever*
(as the year the Republican Party lost their integrity and caused the downfall of America)!
    ——————————————————-

For many decades the Democratic Party was held in contempt — as the one that utilizes Lies, Fraud and CHEATING to reach their goals.

In 2012, the Republican Party — in one swoop — showed to be no different, perhaps, even more blatantly corrupt!
    ———————————————————-

The RNC surpassed in the shortest time all the perfidy the DNC had done over decades (the list of the GOP infamy is long, here are just some examples):

Negating duly elected delegates, BARRING them from participation, Ignoring GOP’s own Rules… changing rules After the Fact, plus many more worse offenses (including breaking bones in Louisiana to prevent the duly elected delegates from this State’s slate, turning off the AC at Arizona’s Convention (trying to get rid of Ron Paul supporters by DEHYDRATION, while stuffing unchecked ballots at the same time…), declaring suspect ‘Aye’ votes when the ‘Nay’ were just as loud (if not even louder) as the Aye’s “have it”…instead of following the Rules and getting a REAL Head Count)!
    ——————————————————–

What will the backlash of such despicable actions be?

IT WILL BE DEVASTATING to our Nation:

    1) No Real American would trust the Republican Establishment! (The American People — that never trusted the Democrats, now cannot trust the Republicans, either)!

    2) Since, no Real American will vote for the RNC’s (CCCP) chosen — the Mitt — expect a low republican vote.

    3) Since, no Real American will vote for the Obaminator — expect the Human Trash that pollutes our Nation to reelect this usurper for another 4 years.
    ———————————————————

Great job RNC — assuring a BO victory that will end US!

So where was that 40% or more at the convention yesterday Surfisher? Ron Paul bilked his supporters out of nearly $40 million for a four minute youtube video to be played at the RNC (that’s $10 million a minute). If the quote “40% or more” even existed why didn’t he just run third party to begin with instead of throwing away $40 million (40 mill that could, btw, have been used to fund the third party run)?

You think that’s a LOT of money for the position Doug Wead accepted? Look at Mitt’s side; fee for service (for the sort of job held by Doug Wead) is closer to 40 to 50k per month.
Eight grand a month is not a huge salary and I am SURE Doug could make a lot more in his field, if he decided to compromise himself.
Thankfully, Mr Wead (obviously) cares about the direction this country is headed in, or he could have worked for Mitt for five or more times the pay.
Yeesh. How young are you to think this is so very much? How little do you make to come off so jealous of Doug’s salary? Considering Doug Wead’s experience and intellect, I would say we got a real BARGAIN.

8K a month is a LOT for National Campaign Consultant? No, it’s actually more than reasonable (or MUCH less than is usual).

“The GOP is smarter than we”!

While, We The People, have hopes of saving our Nation — THEY, the GOP Elite, have none.

We are idealistic — believers that Truth, Liberty and Justice will eventually prevail, thus saving US from imminent economic collapse and the loss of all freedoms!

The GOP Establishment has no such illusions — THEY want to assure that ONLY THEY and THEIR OWN have first dibs on the choices pieces of meat, when the carving of the American People starts. THEY do not want rejuvenation of the Republican Party, nor is stagnation enough — PURGING is needed, so THEY are first in line to pick our bones clean when the economic collapse starts. (Same goes for the Dems in power).
    ——————————————————————————-

We, the Real American People (the producers), are the HOST — and THEY, the Non-Producers, are the Parasites!

While the Host was strong and healthy in the past — the parasites fed well with little notice on OUR loss.

But, NOW the Parasites have become GREATER than the HOST — meaning in order to survive, THEY have to suck MORE blood out of US than we can produce for ourselves, let alone THEM.

Realizing this, THEY are preparing the road ONLY for THEMSELVES and THEIR OWN to strip our carcass clean (after they’ve sucked US dry).
    ————————————————————————

Now, back to working two jobs Real Americans, so you can produce some more to feed THEM longer…until THEY are finally ready to send you to the glue factory… (“Animal Farm” by George Orwell).

  49. Surfisher says:

*Logical Repercussions After the 2012 Presidential Selection*

(listed by the most likely outcome — note: ‘Selection’ since no longer can our votes be termed ‘Election’)
    —————————————————————————————-

    1) The BO wins — and further tries to plunge our Nation under its Socialist Programs aimed to completely destroy our Economy and Liberties. However, most of its teeth have been pulled by the Republicon wins in 2010, and some more of the same in 2012 — so, it is nearly toothless, if it wins the Selection.

[[Remotely possible worst case scenario --- it, the BO, declares Marshall Law in the near future (under some pre-planned "catastrophe" already home-cooked by it, and its sycophantic staff), thus trying to emerge as the "Benevolent" Dictator of USA to "save US all".]]
    ——————————————————————————–

    2) The Rmoney wins — this creature has stated it will support whatever its Money Donors tell it to do! Expect the International Jewish owned Central Banks and Federal Reserve to instruct IT to attack Iran IMMEDIATELY (in order to protect Israel…from a possible, in maybe 10 years, manufacturing a single crude “atomic” bomb).

[[Viable worst case scenario --- a Rmoney win, along with the expected Republicon wins in Congress and Senate, will give the Mitt a sure boost to attack not only Iran, but Syria, and any other nation IT, the Mitt, wants, to please its Masters that Selected this creature!]]
    —————————————————————————————

So, for ALL of you that think voting for the Lesser of Two Evils is OK — make sure you figure out which one is “LESS EVIL”!

JUST VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCE — and do not reward these creatures by acknowledging their existence!

All of you Democrats are all a bunch of stupid, evil, immoral people and represent everything that is wrong with this world. Drop dead and burn in hell where you belong!

    • annebeck58 says:

Dang, Nina; got it all out? Tell us how you really feel..

One question: Which Democrats are you talking to? Most people on Doug Wead’s blog have affiliated themselves with the GOP, at least last presidential election season (for Ron Paul, or, Ron Paul Republicans), or are Independents. So, which Dems, here, are you referring to?

Regardless of your response, let me explain something to you: Voting in the USA is a SHAM. The Bipartisan Mafia of the good ole U S of A includes both, “sides”, and each is as evil as the next. Our votes do not count. It’s all a facade of, “democracy”, and more Americans need to comprehend this. The way things stand in this country, now, voting is helping nobody.

If you don’t want to take my word for it, volunteer as an election judge, for the 2014 mid-year race(s). Pay attention to what really goes on. Count the people coming in and voting and then request the vote results. More times than not, the numbers simply do NOT add up. Yet we get in there and we work and donate funds to the candidates we think will do the best job for US. And, the decent folk, like Ron Paul, never do stand a chance. Once you realize why, it’s time for you to help figure out what we, the people, need to do to get that change we all so desperately NEED.

(And, after you’ve done the work, go to my blog and tell me how it went and what you learned. okay? You can get there by clicking on my picture/avatar.)
