Brent Strafford, an American hero

“La vengeance est un plat qui se mange froid”

“Vengeance is a dish best served cold.”

While all the political news yesterday focused on the end of Rick Santorum’s presidential campaign a colorful drama unfolded in faraway St. Charles, Missouri Tuesday night.  This was the scene of the re-scheduled, famous, St. Charles County GOP Convention.

Yes, there was some booing and plenty of disagreements but after all was said and done, the 900 voters who had gathered chose their delegation to move onto State.  Finally, we have a winner.  And it is not Mitt Romney, the presumptive GOP nominee and media darling.  The winner is Dr. Ron Paul.

It was a dramatic turn of events for Ron Paul supporters who are used to being defrauded by the GOP but this time persistence, integrity and careful documentation won the day.

It seemed like a year ago but it was only last March 17, 2012, when the St. Charles Convention first tried to convene.  At that convention a GOP establishment shut out any new voters, attempting to elect its own preselected slate, ignoring the attending delegates as if they didn’t exist and their votes did not count.

When, on March 17, the organizers announced that the meeting would go dark, that no cameras or audio recording devices would be allowed, apparently to keep from exposing their dark deeds, the attending Ron Paul supporters, and even some Romney supporters, reacted with predictable outrage.  And the organizers, expecting, even hoping for such a reaction, called in the police whom they had tipped off in advance and were waiting in the wings.  The building was evacuated.

If you need to get caught up, here is that story. Rigged caucus in St. Charles ends in bedlam.

Later, Ron Paul coordinator, Brent Strafford, who is handicapped, attempted to organize and give instructions to the bewildered Ron Paul supporters gathered outside on the parking lot.  But the temporary chairman, who was running things, would have none of it.  He followed Strafford outside and ordered the police to arrest him.  You can see all of this on video. Go to the end of the video to see the arrest.  The arrest of Brent Strafford.

A few days later a video-audio emerged where GOP insiders revealed how they had conspired to outwit the vast numbers of Ron Paul supporters who were expected.  Yep, I used that terrible “C” word, something that a Ron Paul supporter has learned never to utter without supporting documentation.  But how else would you explain this?  Here, an undercover camera records the GOP establishment and their secret plan for St. Charles.

Well, now we can finely close the books on the drammatic events in St. Charles.  The State GOP were on hand, and a bevy of constitutional lawyers were watching, indeed, people were watching the event all over the world.

Brent Strafford, the man who had been taken away in handcuffs at the first convention, but who kept his dignity and quietly documented what had happened, working to get justice for the people who had given up their time to participate, was elected to replace the caucus chairman who had tried to steal the election.  “They meant it for evil.  God meant it for good.”

It instructive for the Ron Paul supporters to realize how threatening and feared they are.  That the very idea of their participation will prompt people to cheat and to contradict their own deeply held democratic principles to hurt them.  And then to justify their deceit to themselves and to their friends.  If there had been no cameras and audio, no one would have believed the hypocrisy.

Abraham Lincoln once said, “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power”  We can hope and pray that when the time comes, Brent Stafford, will be more honorable than the man he replaced.

Absolutely! I hope he runs for office, the sooner the better. He is an inspiration to us all.

    • tex2 says:

Why is a hero someone who does the right thing? LOL

      • SheldonFromDownUnder says:

Because in a world where wrong seems right and right seems wrong, people become scared of doing what is truly right. Today, doing the right thing is perhaps the bravest thing to do.

That, my dear Texan, is why a person who does the right thing is a hero. I hope you’ll understand someday and become as great as Brent Stafford.

      • tex2 says:

This guy seems so obsessed with RP since he can’t seem to stop replying to these comments. —> I can stop any time I want, but why would I, as I’m having so much fun. LOL

Also, note how everony else discusses the issues but this guy doesn’t have anything of substance to say, so he just trolls instead. So typical of these anti-Paul crusaders. —> Really? Then YOU respond to these issues, which I’ve posted several times, with little to no response. LOL:

Why Ron Paul would NOT be a good president:
        1. He is old, mousey, whiny, grumpy, skinny, etc. Do not underestimate the importance of these factors, as a very large number of voters are not familiar with the issues, and vote for vanity. Sad but true. It does no good to have good ideas when you don’t have the presidential image, and Ron has neither.
        2. He has been in Congress for 2 decades and doesn’t have a single bill to his name. We elected someone president with zero accomplishments in 2008, why would we want to do that again? How can you expect him to be able to lead the country when he can’t lead a single bill to fruition after 20 years?
        3. He even voted against his own bill to audit the Federal Reserve, because he didn’t get every single detail he wanted. He is so stubbornly rigid he simply takes his toys and goes home if he doesn’t get every little detail he wants.
        4. Many of his domestic policies are admirable, but how does he expect to implement them when he will have to work with Congress to get many of them turned into a reality? Will he simply hold his breath until Congress lets him get his way, because he has zero track record of using any other tactic to be successful?
        5. Most of his foreign policies are dangerous. If we pull out of foreign countries, the vacuum WILL be filled by Russia, China, etc. Once you lose your toehold, it is VERY difficult to expand military operations if the need arises. Think about how hard it would have been for the U.S. to fight Hitler if England had fallen. For example, if China decides they don’t want to allow free flow of oil, we would have no recourse, as it takes years, if not decades, to develop independent energy sources. He is simply naive to the point of being a traitor to his own country. Also, we need forward positioned military presence to fight the global war on terror. It isn’t being fought only in Iraq and Afghanistan, there are operations literally around the world preventing future 9/11 type attacks that simply cannot be fought by guarding our own borders, 9/11 should have taught us that. We must therefore disrupt the terrorist cells wherever they are, so they cannot organize, plan, recruit, train, equip, and attack again. To not do this would be suicidal.
For the above and other reasons, Ron gets the pot smoking and “freedom at any cost” crowd, and that’s all he will ever get. LOL

  2. annebeck58 says:

    YES!
As I said, to Brett last night: EXCELLENT!

And, yes, many of us Paul-ites DID “conspire” to capture not just the mood, but the FRAUD at the St Charles Co Caucus. We actually discussed this on the REVPAC LIVE site, on Stupid-Tuesday, and plotted, planned, and PROMISED to have cameras and i-phones at the ready, charged-up, with blank cards, to ensure this could happen.

I still wonder, as I cannot recall ever seeing it: Have we EVER seen a caucus-re-do in the National Season, before this? Is this not precedent-setting? I am pretty sure it is.
We may have seen re-do’s in state primaries (for State positions, i.e., gubernatorial races), but ONLY in the case when a candidate has died. Has anyone seen this before in regard to POTUS race?

    I know i have not.
And, this makes this WIN (regardless of who took it, it WAS a win for honesty and transparency– just glad PAUL TOOK IT) extra special and extra- stupendous! It’s just wonderful.
Congrats to ALL who filmed the StChCO-caucus.. and to Brett Stafford, for standing up for US.

(if anyone knows of any other do-over, I’d love to have the info!)

    • annebeck58 says:

BTW; yes, I always get Brent’s name wrong, as there was a Brett there, too– also working for US– and by US, I mean the electorate. I am not referring ONLY to the Paul supporters; I am speaking of ALL who worked so diligently to get this done and done correctly.
People should read the entire article posted by BRENT. It’s great!

    • tex2 says:

It should be noted the Romney people also protested the earlier meeting, and there is no “conspiracy” against RP. LOL

Yes, I’m sure you made history, this is the first time ever there has been a caucus irregularity in the U.S….NOT! LOL

Exactly how many years of elections did you study in detail to come to that conclusion? LOL

I am a Canadian and I found out about Ron Paul last year I have never turned back. I wish we could find a Ron Paul in Canada and I think most of the world wish they could find a Ron Paul for their own government. God speed you towards the White House Sir.

    • tex2 says:

You can have ours, would you like a one-way ticket to Toronto or Ottawa? LOL

    • Surfisher says:

      John Major —

You are correct. Ron Paul is the ONLY Patriot that is running to save our Nation (and by extrapolation, the World) — and not for his own ego.

The rest are power-hungry leaches caring only for their own ENGORGEMENT upon their subjects, and nothing else!

      • tex2 says:

Never mind Surfisher, he somehow got off his medication. He is a recovering RIP (Ron “Independent” Paul) supporter. LOL

      • tex3 says:

nevermind tex2, he is symbolic of the desperation of the anti Paul arguement, which consists only of irrelevant claims, insults and namecalling. I was not surprised to see that copy&paste list of tex2′s reasons not to like Ron Paul, used repeatedly for weeks now…….yawn. cant you come up with something a little more “grown up”? since you seem to be here to try and “discourage” support from Ron Paul, maybe you should try a more intelligent approach. I doubt you have influenced even one person….LOL

      • tex2 says:

nevermind tex3, he is symbolic of the desperation of the pro RIP argument, which consists only of irrelevant claims, insults and namecalling. I doubt you have influenced even one person….LOL

      • tex3 says:

Actually, I agree with the views shared here, and im not here to try to discredit anybody. But you dont seem to be able to sway any opinions in your favor, and your arguement lacks any facts. LOL

      • tex3 says:

I guess your not that good at coming up with your own answers. LOL

      • tex2 says:

Here’s an answer: RIP would be a terrible president. LOL

      • tex3 says:

it seems you are the lone holder of that opinion here. LOL

      • tex2 says:

Here, perhaps. But in the general population, the VAST majority, and that’s what counts. LOL

  5. I suspect that if we could have “do overs” with TRANSPENCY, Ron Paul would have won most of the caucus races. This whole campaign cycle has been riddled with GOP corruption and shady dealings.

    • tex2 says:

No doubt, just think how dominant his 10% vote total has been! LOL

      • tex2 says:

That is ONE poll, a combination of polls shows Romney clearly leads RP. LOL

And they haven’t started campaigning against each other yet. LOL
And RP won’t win the nomination. LOL

And Barry would have a field day with RP if he did win. LOL

      • tex3 says:

        those are tex2′s “predictions”. LOL

      • tex2 says:

Yes, my predictions, based on these FACTS:

Why Ron Paul would NOT be a good president:
        1. He is old, mousey, whiny, grumpy, skinny, etc. Do not underestimate the importance of these factors, as a very large number of voters are not familiar with the issues, and vote for vanity. For the above and other reasons, Ron gets the pot smoking and “freedom at any cost” crowd, and that’s all he will ever get. LOL

      • tex3 says:

so where are the facts? LOL

      • tex2 says:

        See above. LOL

      • tex3 says:

got any other copy&pastes? that one is getting pretty old, we all laughed at that weels ago. LOL

      • tex2 says:

I don’t need another, you can’t handle that one. LOL

You’ve been looking at it for “weels” and are STILL dumbfounded. LOL

      • tex3 says:

LOL ya i meant weeks. LOL
I dissected that 2 weeks ago, and i could copy and paste, but that silly list is old and boring, and it sounds like you dont have any “real” reasoning to go by, and it is clear that you are misinformed on Paul’s policies. Everyone here understands, it is you that does not. But im sure you will respond desperately with LOL to hide your bitterness. Nobody here owes your silly questions an answer. LOL

  6. Doug, 2 caucusgoers were arrested and both still face charges. People never mention Ken “The Cameraman” Suitter… http://youtu.be/OluMixoyaz8 The campaign, officially, has said absolutely NOTHING about Ken Suitters’ situation (nor, to my knowledge) has the campaign issued a serious condemnation of the arrest, cuffing and incarceration of both of these Ron Paul supporters. Too often politics involves nothing more than showmanship, hence response to and dwelling upon ONLY what people who sit at home all day see on their screens. Ironically, Ken was arrested for videotaping…and faces the same trespass charge as Brent. Also, Ken’s camera and video images on that camera still are “in custody”. It’s past time for the campaign to step in actively here. And it’s best not to forget to mention that TWO were arrested, if only because 2 is more than 1. Yes, Brent did great work. Another guy faces the same charges. And the link above and here http://youtu.be/OluMixoyaz8 is to Ken’s song recorded in 2008– America Needs to Stand Tall (and Vote for Ron Paul). Enjoy the song and have a nice day.

  7. ptferris says:

Doug … the campaign needs to put Brent on staff and deploy him in the remaining caucus states where needed. His experience and understanding of the “process” is an assett that should not be wasted.

  8. Vote Ron Paul 2012
    Win a Free Country!

    • tex2 says:

Waste your vote – Vote Ron Paul 2012 LOL
Win a Free Country! (and don’t forget the 9/11 weekly attacks and legal cocaine and heroin for all!) LOL

      • Leo says:

You make me ashamed to be a Texan sir.

      • tex3 says:

putting the “media spin” on Paul’s policies certainly wont work here. LOL

      • tex2 says:

You should be ashamed you like RIP. LOL
I put the “factual spin” on RIP’s policies, and it is working marvelously. LOL

      • tex3 says:

you should be ashamed that you dont like RP, and your just not convincing, i just dont think the people here are receptive to your views. so what do you mean by its working? i would say not. LOL

      • tex2 says:

There are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people who visit a site and never post, for every one that does. There was even a post from the guy who wrote the Santorum/RIP alliance who said he looked at the forum and decided to not support RIP. Go look at that thread, it’s hilarious. LOL

Voter and Delegate FRAUD is RAMPANT and the EVIDENCE seems to be all over the Internet. It’s coming close to the time when Ron Paul starts talking about this MORE publicly – for the SAKE of his Hard-Working Supporters! Perhaps it’s time to “gather” the Evidence and begin to use it in Campaign Ads or in the Debate format when and if he goes Independent / 3rd Party.

Maybe it’s time for the Campaign or the PAC to Contact Bev Harris from “Black Box” Voting.

Do you have proof of RAMPANT voter and delegate fraud? RP probably doesn’t have the “constitution” (LOL) to vocalize it, it would come off as whining, in his high pitched, nasally voice, just like everything else does that he says. LOL

Why don’t YOU contact Bev? LOL

  10. Crickett says:

Doug, I love ya and your speaking skills are excellent but there are glaring errors in this written speech. I am sure (maybe) you meant finally instead of finely which has a totally different meaning, and in the same sentence you spelled dramatic wrong. Please have some respect for your readers and take the time to get it right. Thanks

    • FreeYourself says:

Why does everyone care about spelling mistakes on the Internet? As long as the message is understood, then everything else is just nitpicking.

      • Well, spell the name right at least. Doug Wead put this out not knowing what the hell he was talking about—as he’s an official representative of the campaign it shows the campaign isn’t on the ball. That is a significant thing to point out.

The campaign officially has botched this one.

  12. Surfisher says:

Contact Ann Romney – (Ann Romney now is on Twitter and got a gazillion followers in just hours. Her first tweet was a keeper: “I made a choice to stay home and raise five boys. Believe me, it was hard work.”)

Contact her — since she seems to have more brains than Mitt, and tell her how to handle her husband (so he does not become just a laughable historical footnote).

    SEND THE BELOW !!!

Mitt Romney could become one of the greatest Statesmen in US History! He’d be the Savior of our Nation — the one that generations to come would tell their children: “Look at this statue, this is Mitt Romney, he saved America”!

Or, he can reduce himself to just a tiny footnote…what is amazing is that his fate rests in his own hands (a very rare occurrence throughout the history of the world)!

All Romney has to do, is to take advantage of this rarest of historical moments, and make a SINGLE DECISION!!!

Withdraw his candidacy IN FAVOR of Ron Paul, with the following grandiose and heart-wrenching patriotic speech (to save his political skin):

“I, Mitt Romney, will sacrifice my political goals for the Good of the People. Now I understand that only Ron Paul can save our Nation. I agree with all he stands for, therefore, I have deemed that our Nation’s salvation can only be accomplished when Ron Paul is elected as President of the United States of America. Without regret, but with joy, I do the most honorable and patriotic deed I can — I withdraw myself from this election, and give my full support to Ron Paul!”

One honest person is needed to bring these logical conclusions to Romney’s PERSONAL ATTENTION (not the myopic sycophants surrounding him and stroking his ego by chanting wishful thinking as ‘fact’: “You gonna win Boss, you gonna win Boss….).

Regardless how egotistical, arrogant and narcissistic Romney may be, some semblance of reasoning of what’s best for him, should still remain in his skull. The instinct for self preservation dictates that even the smallest of minds will chose the path that leads to safety, not the one leading to disaster.

An honest realist needs to talk to Romney one-on-one — and explain the following to him, so Mitt can comprehend it:

    1) If you don’t win the nomination, than your political career is over (you’ll become just a tiny footnote in US History as a failure).

    2) If you win the nomination, and don’t defeat Obama — which is the most probable outcome (you’ll become just a tiny footnote in US History as an even LARGER failure).

Therefore, Dear Mitt, whichever gamble you take from the above, may lead to total disaster for your political career (and probably will)!

However, here is an action you can take, Dear Mitt — WITHDRAW IN FAVOR OF RON PAUL, AND PLEDGE YOUR TOTAL SUPPORT FOR HIM — that guarantees you’ll become immortalized in the annals of US History (becoming the 21st Century Savior of America by your sacrifice)! Surely this carrot of success will entice Romney’s egotism to go for it (over the probable political beatings he’d receive otherwise)!

All one needs to do, to assure Mitt’s Historical Greatness of Sacrifice for the Good of the Nation, is to present the above to Romney’s eyes alone! I urge all able to do so, to place this document in front of him!

Send this to Mitt Romney — as an Open Letter, e-mails, etc. — the more you send, the greater the chance he’ll get to read it!

TEX2, I REALIZE THAT IT IS A HARD PILL TO SWALLOW, BUT RON PAUL IS RIGHT ON JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING I’VE HEARD HIM TALK ABOUT. I KNOW MOST PEOPLE HAVE A HARD TIME GRASPING THE FACT THAT THEY ARE BEING LIED TO ON SUCH A GRAND SCALE, BUT MAYBE ONE DAY YOU WILL BECOME ENLIGHTENED WITH THE TRUTH AND REALIZE JUST HOW NAIVE YOU WERE ALL ALONG! THAT IS JUST THE FIRST STEP, FROM THEN ON YOU WILL REALIZE WHAT ALL THOSE “CRAZY” RON PAUL SUPPORTERS WERE ABOUT. I FIGURE THE BEST WAY TO EXPLAIN IT IS IN 5,10 YEARS WHEN YOU HAVE MADE (WHAT YOU FEEL) IS PROGRESS IN YOUR LIFE, MAYBE JUST MAYBE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE ANY BETTER OFF AND IN SOME CASES WORSE OFF! I GRADUATED COLLEGE AT THE BEGINNING OF 07, HAVE MAD PRETTY GOOD HEADWAY CONSIDERING THE JOB MARKET MAKE 20,000 MORE A YR THAN I DID 6 YRS AGO AND I AM STRUGGLING MORE NOW THAN I WAS THEN! • tex2 says:

No, it isn’t. The FTC ruled it isn’t in 1979, but they didn’t know about the Amway Tool Scam. You’re just another stupid RIPtilian who oversimplifies an issue and then you think you are smart when you are, in fact, quite stupid. LOL

  19. Nikhil says:

    Brent Stafford rules!

And guys, honestly why are you even replying to tex2. Just let the guy be, he just wants attention so don’t give it to him.

  20. RMHill says:

Lincoln words are interesting. They go well with the idea expressed in the oft repeated phrase, “Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Brent had power as permanent chair at the redo caucus. How did he do? Well, shortly after being elected, a Santorum supporter raised an issue. There were 903 participants with voting power at the caucus. The vote totals between the two nominated candidates added up to something less than 903 – perhaps two or three dozen less. The Santorum guy wanted to dispute the results based on this.

Now think about this for a minute… if the total votes came to more than 903, then we would have a problem. At that point, it would appear there was either an obvious miscount, people voting twice in violation of Robert’s Rules, or people voting who were not allowed to vote (also in violation of Robert’s Rules). Yet if the vote total is less than 903, it may simply mean that a certain number of people abstained from voting. In fact, one gentleman (a Romney supporter) rose to address the chair and said he abstained, as did others around him… so what was the big deal? In addition, even if the missing votes were added to the losers tally, Brent would have still won the chair. The whole thing was ignorant and was only the first display of ignorance on the part of Santorum supporters concerning how a caucus operates and what does or doesn’t constitute a legitimate concern.

Brent tried to preside over a resolution of the matter, only to have another objection raised as to the legitimacy of him investigating his own election to chairman. What was Brent’s reaction to this? He voluntarily requested the temporary chair to resume the chairmanship and re-establish the vote. Mr. Cole put a quick end to all this absurdity by merely calling for a voice vote on Brent’s position as chair. The affirmative was overwhelming, and Brent resumed his rightful place as chair.

Other absurdities were displayed… like Romney and Santorum supporters coming up with a slate at the last minute in digital form, rather than written form as the adopted rules stipulated. The credentials committee had no way to verify the document, yet allowing such a submission was debated by the Santorum contingent in the most ridiculous ways. One woman stepped to the mic to explain she was the County recorder of deeds, and in her office, as well as all state offices, documents were allowed to be submitted in digital form. Okay. So what??? This is like me claiming that I accept Emails from my customers in digital form. Big deal, so what? What does that have to do with the caucus and its rules already adopted by majority vote?

Yet Brent remained patient throughout the stupidity. Never once did he strong arm anyone or abuse his power. Not even close. He went above and beyond the call of fairness.

  21. Surfisher says:

BAN *tex2* from this site IMMEDIATELY — Never allow IT to post here again! ALSO, DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY OF ITS TROLLING !

Dear, Doug — this is your HOME page, and all of us posting here are your guests. Don’t know about your tolerance level, but mine ends when an unwelcome guest tries to set my home on fire, in order to chase out all the welcomed people I’ve invited!

No normal exchange can be held here — since the #2 quickly fills in all REPLY slots….so no-one else can respond sequentially to what was stated before. This is its main goal (secondary is its spittings of hatred to all that’s good)!

The #2′s strategy is simply hitting the REPLY button (posting some vitriol), then another REPLY button — thus VIRTUALLY HIJACKING any thread from allowing others to directly respond to the original post.

PUT a STOP to IT — send Doug the needed message/program to BAN/BLOCK this Shill from his blog!

    • tex2 says:

So which is it, ignore me or ban me? LOL

Why don’t you respond to the very real and very serious issues I brought up:

LOL

I’m not behaving any different than the RIPtilians taking over the caucus meetings, except that you can respond as you wish without being “shouted down.” LOL

    Voting starts now:

    1) Surfisher — Yes

  24. Surfisher says:

    Dear Doug Wead,

How can we have confidence that you are capable of managing Ron Paul’s campaign, when you are unable to manage your own blog?

On any other Forum the destructive manipulations of “tex2″ would have been removed by a moderator, and the creature banned (regardless how many IP’s it uses, there are programs that can track and block them).

On this, and even OTHER forums, I’ve read people saying that while they read your blog, they won’t post on it — since they don’t want to be verbally abused by the #2. Their take is: Why bother posting or replying here — the #2 is going to hijack the thread by peppering it with insults and non-sensical multi-replies….

In the last 30 days, IT has posted more times than the combined total of all other posters (also, ITS total word count exceeds that of the rest)!

Many good people are leaving your forum because of the above. Unless you take care of it, why should we stay?

Are you paying attention to the people voting to BAN this waste-of-protoplasm?!

  25. celticreeler says:

Boy, that’s what we need! More laws! No one even knows where/what they are. Let’s make lots, and lots of laws….make the law completely opaque, inscrutable, and byzantine….then we’ll ALL be lawbreakers! That’s what I want, yes sir!

The Creator I worship thought two stone tablets were enough for His moral law. The Romans had the Law of the Twelve Tables, posted for everyone to read. Here in the U.S. we are so highly developed that we need to continually make more laws, and as if that weren’t enough, more regulations, and more executive orders, too. We are so afraid of everyone and everything that we need these laws that the government can’t even quantify. Seems like we’re even afraid of ourselves–we need ever more laws to curb our own wayward behavior. It’s as if the people have just given up, ready to admit that they can’t govern their own behavior in the slightest.

Permanent job security for the legislator/lawyer class is guaranteed!.

Demoralizing, that’s what it is. If a law can’t or won’t be enforced, have the honesty and SELF CONTROL to not make the law.

But no, instead we have “lawmakers” who measure their worth by how many laws they pass. That’s the indicator of “legislative productivity.” Ron Paul is an absolute HERO because he REFRAINS from adding to this burden.

The above is my opinion. Do I have any right to have one?

    • tex2 says:

I would prefer new laws to reduce the number and complexity of the laws, but you are welcome to your opinion. LOL

The Creator had the ability to “smite” people too, making things a bit simpler. LOL

I would suggest 12 year term limits for Congress, and think the Tea Party is in the best position to promote this idea, but you are welcome to your own opinion. LOL

I agree laws not enforced should be canceled. Perhaps every law should have a sunset provision, and if it isn’t used and/or enforced, it has to be canceled unless renewed. LOL

Ron Paul is merely watching the train go by, he should have been forming a coalition in Congress instead of standing alone and finger pointing. He is part of the problem, not the solution. LOL

You are entitled to your own opinion, however intelligent or stupid it is. LOL

But the main media never shows this REALITY — so, are we to stand by and allow them to steal this Election away from us — when clearly the TRUE Americans have spoken?!

At the very least, since time is money, the thing is wasting money on all these comments. The thing has no impact here; we just discount that text when we see the icon. This is perfect! Wasting the money that would otherwise be spent brainwashing the gullible.

The Passion of the Christ is a good movie, but I don’t know if I want to watch it THAT many times in a row, so let’s take a break from this repetitious “program” and allow other readers to comment on the below serious and real issues that result in baggage for Ron Paul. Tell me what you think, let’s have open and honest discourse, and since I’m a First Amendment kind of guy, even the “list” above is welcome to chime in:

Why Ron Paul won’t get elected and would NOT be a good president:
For the above and other reasons, Ron gets the pot smoking and “freedom at any cost” crowd, and that’s all he will ever get…LOL

  36. Surfisher says:

“Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson could pull as much as 6% of the vote in a hypothetical three-way match-up with Mitt Romney and President Obama. Johnson began the 2012 race running for the Republican nomination but has wound up carrying the libertarian banner and could gain ballot access in several states.”

If the above transpires, it is a certainty that Mitt will not defeat BO (with his flip-flopping, he couldn’t defeat him anyway, now this would assure it).

So he needs to withdraw now in favor of Ron Paul!
    ————————————————————————-

Ron Paul WILL become President in 2012 — IF, Romney becomes a Patriot, and forgoes his ego, for the Good of the People!

Now I understand that only Ron Paul that can save our Nation.

However, here is an action you can take, Dear Mitt, that guarantees you’ll become immortalized in the annals of US History — becoming the 21st Century Savior of America (surely this carrot of success will entice Romney’s egotism to go for it — over the probable political beatings he’d receive otherwise)!

    • Surfisher says:

In short: BO is a shoo-in if Mitt is elected to run against him.

So, concentrate to have Rmoney withdraw from the election in favor of Ron Paul.

At this stage only Ron Paul can defeat BO — and no-one else!

    • Surfisher says:

Ron Paul MUST stay on course — keep up the uphill battle to win as many delegates as possible (that the GOP does not prevent him to do, by their obvious chicanery)!

Ron Paul needs to take Rmoney to Tampa. Then, the PERFIDY of the GOP will be Nationally telecast (hundreds of thousands of Real Americans supporting the only Patriot (RP), vs a few hundred mousey sycophants for Mitt Grosny, will be hard to dismiss)!
      —————————————————————————

The American People have long known that the Democrat Party cheats and lies — so they are used to their chicanery (the reason, many call them Democrooks).
It is high time that they NOW see the GOP is no different — the Republicons fraud, cheating and strong-arming to “elect” Mitt Grosny, may finally have a televised exposure!
      ——————————————————————————–

After the Tampa Convention — which will probably be the most memorable of spectacles this last 50 years — Ron Paul should take the best path that assures he’ll be part of the Presidential debates vs BO.

Ron Paul MUST be part of the Presidential debates — so, people can judge the difference between a real Human and plastic sub-humans!
      —————————————————————————————

It is not unprecedented for a candidate to be the standard bearer for more than one party (I think in 1896, William Jennings Bryan was the nominee of the Democrats, the Populist Party, and the Silver Republicans; and I believe in 1872, Horace Greeley was nominated by the Democrats and also by the Liberal-Republican Party).

Doug Wead — hope you have similar strategy in mind!

    Some notable excerpts:

“Romney is not a vulture capitalist, as Rick Perry says, since vultures eat dead carcasses,” notes Josh Kosman, who has written about the private equity business for 15 years. He’s “more of a parasitic capitalist, since he destroys profitable businesses.” (The host must be healthy enough to be force-fed all that debt, then slowly bled to death…until the parasites drain all the wealth for themselves).

“When Bain was about to buy a company, its partners would hold a meeting. “He said that about half the time [they] would talk about cutting workers,” Kosman says. “They would never talk about adding workers. He said that job growth was never part of the plan.” That claim was buttressed by the Associated Press, which studied 45 companies bought by Bain during Romney’s first decade. It found that 4,000 workers lost their jobs. The real figure is likely thousands higher, since the analysis didn’t account for bankruptcies and factory and store closings.

“The Armco plant closing involved more than the torching of 750 jobs, Morrow says. Contractors and suppliers collapsed. Workers’ children and widows lost health care and pension benefits. And while Bain received millions in tax breaks—paid for by the very people left holding the bag—Romney walked away millions richer.”

Ron Paul to WIN — or America to End 2012

Take your pick…there are no other options!
    —————————————————————
Ron Paul must take Rmoney to Tampa — to expose the GOP’s perfidy — when hundreds of thousands of Real Americans will come to the Convention voluntarily, supporting Ron Paul, the ONLY REAL AMERICAN PATRIOT in this race (vs a few hundred BUSED Rmoney bullies pretending they are actual people)!

If the Republican Convention cheats Ron Paul out of The Nomination — then, go Third Party!

There MUST NOT be a way allowed, for Rmoney to “debate” BO one-on-one — since this will be a Clowns’ Show (two liars trying to out-lie each other…when they are one-and-the-same HUMAN TRASH)!

Ron Paul MUST be part of the DEBATES — so, he can clearly show up THESE politically trained monkeys for what they are — The ULTIMATE Destroyers of the USA!
    ————————————————————–

Elect Ron Paul as President, if you want to Save America — vote for anyone else, if you WANT to DESTROY the USA!
